I started working on a compilation cd for some AGS games and demos, and all is going reletively well, except that my Autoplay Interface is hidious. No matter how many magazine cds (which are, of course, my influence here) I put in and look at, I just can't make anything I'm happy with. I dunno if there're better programs for me to try using (I couldn't find anything free as of starting this) or what. I'm using a demo of a program called CD Autorun Creator, but only the demo.

I just have such fond memories of receiving PC Gamer in the mail and popping in the disc to find neat new games. This was the 90s though, so there more than 2 of them on there.

I mentioned this in the Recruit a Team forum, and it made sense to me at the time, but after consideration, I decided I just need opinions and suggestions. Mean while, here's what I've got...

They seem to "work", but I can handle functionallity. I'd like it to look better.

On another note, of the games listed only a couple authors have gotten back to me about distributing the games being OKAY, so that list could always change...

I've never seen the thread where you asked people whether it was OK. I believe most AGS games are freeware, and many authors would be happy to allow this.

Here's a site with some freeware autorun creators - not sure which will fit your needs:

As for looks, I think it looks fairly good. I guess the font colours can be changed if you think it looks too "90s-ish" :)

Game description lacks screenshots :)

Yep. And it needs some borders, and the black background is hideous, and right-justifying text makes it hard to read.

I didn't use a thread. I decided to send PMs because you get an email I think, when you receive a PM, so I though maybe that work better. I'm going to take a look at some of those freeware progs on that site, thanks!

Well, I'm not sure whom you sent those PMs to, but I don't recall receiving any. Then again I only have ten published titles to my name, so I probably have little to offer you  ;D
