Merry Christmas one and all. For my stepdad, and by stepdad I mean really for me, a new graphics card. nVidia GeForce 6200 AGP is the best our motherboard could support but its a far cry nicer than our old ATI Radeon PCI whatsit. Looking forward to that GPU.

Yeh, a friend of mine's family is Jewish, but they seem to have given in and now celebrate Xmas like the rest of us...

I hate these moany Mary's who complain that the religion is taken out of it... if they wanna turn it into a religion thing, then that's fine by me, but they should let the rest of us have our own time for giving and sharing and being with families and stuff.

But seriously, why would anyone be offended by something like "Merry Christmas", regardless of whether they celebrate it or not. That just feels all backwards to me. I celebrate neither Hanukkah or Thanksgiving, but it still feels rather nice when someone wants me to be happy on any such occasion.

My first thought would be to do the opposite of what would be appropriate, like wish everyone a happy Kwanzaa no matter what.
