the light. Villains all over the world shiver with fear when this team
of Golden Age Comic-Book Goodness strikes...

But... how do they look like, actually? Since your superpower is known
to be incredible imagination, it's your task to give us all a glance at...

The Thrilling Three!



Rules:

No colour limit.

Outline may be flipped, and small details (like capes or masks) may be added, but
not too much- the outline must be easy to recognise. 

Style doesn't matter- pixel art or freeform, anything goes.

Due to the theme of this CB, superheroes with *invisibility* and *exists only in
the shape of an outline* powers can't be member of The Thrilling Three!

A team where the heroe's super power can be guessed from the looks, or a team
of matching characters, or a really whacky team with extremely goofy references to
existing heroes... will defenitely look good, wouldn't it?

Colourful costumes a must!

I would like to introduce you to none other than The Heroes of Christmas! Here we have Santa Claus, the Missus, and ...an Elf. They are posed and ready to bring presents and baked goodies to the good children everywhere, and justice to the naughty children who deserve it. (Mrs. Claus could look frazzled for a few reasons. She could be totally sick of children and baking, or maybe it's the plaid. You can't have Christmas without someone wearing awkward plaid.)

They Keep the streets safe by fighting crime
with their powerful staches...This crimefighting

First up, there's Willow Woman, with the power to cleanse the air of dangerous toxins! Easy Breathing for humans everyehere!
Next, there's Boulder Boy. Combined with his immense weight and terrible temper, he tends to cause rather large earthquakes. But only for the forces of good.
And lastly, we have The Incredible Wind Sock. Remeber those hot days which seemed unbearable until that cool breeze showed up? Then you have The Wind Sock to thank.

Yes! They are mighty superheroes who teach people to have a positive mind and save them out of the depressing pit created by their loss of money!

From left to right:
Tucktuck duck: "Quack Quark Kuat?!" Be annoyed by the nonstopping noises, instead of just thinking about how much money you are owing the bank, which sucks!
Tactical diver: Whenever he senses a desperate mind who ascends to the top of a tall building he will appear to the rescue... by demonstrating how much damage could be caused by this stupid terminating act, in person! "Look what I will become! So, don't try that, my friend!"
Tuxedo mask jester: *From classified document* According to research and reports of our talented agents we humbly admit that we know nothing about this entity, not even whether or not he is really going to save people. Maybe it's a false claim that he is with the other two. There have been unconfirmed reports that after looking at him, people became extremely depressed and jumped onto the trains' rail!

Not sure what powers they have, except maybe freaking criminals out.  And haunting your dreams.

Well then, time to hand over the shinies! First of all, thanks to everyone who participated- this was one of the most active CBs I had the pleasure to host, and the entries were *all* awesome. Unfortunately, I can only hand out three trophies, but, as usual, I'll also dish out the "other" award. Since even I can't make cake  references forever, this time it's the Plutonium award.

With such a nicely done retro pixel art, eye-caressing colour swatch and the cheeky
way he dared to flip the outline, the golden trophy goes to Gilbet, whose whacky heroes
might very well star in some adventure game sometime.

When a man can squeeze such a lot of fun into a team of outlines... he deserves silver!

Bronze Trophy Of Respectivelyness

A true team, a nice attempt at freeform colouring goodness and a candy cane!
Clearly a cleverly hidden reference to that Batman Animated episode where
the Joker used candy as a gag! So there are gags in here! Whoo!
Who'd dare not to price this? Me, I don't, so here's Sylvr... getting bronze.

The Raddest Place: TOONAHOLIC
Plutonium Trophy Of Deviousness

The only one to create a "true hero team" in the classic comic book style, with
fun powers and a nice punchline. The Plutonium Award is by no means a meagre
"fourth place", it's a badge of honour and respect for a devious piece of CB art.
Take it with pride, and keep it safely in a lead safe!
