Forces of Nature is back (vengeance not included)!

I'd like some feedback on whether or not the 3d sprites mesh with the background and any comments on the screens in general.  Are they too yellow, blurry, etc.?

EDIT:  Made the pictures larger.

I like the yellowish in all the pictures. Gives them a sort of magical/fairy tale feeling.
And the 3D characters might work. I'm haveing a hard time to decide, because the images is quit small and the characters might very well mesh when they move.

But from what I see know, it all looks fine.

I really like the colors. The darks on the sprite generally approach black, which is also true of the backgrounds, so they do blend a bit, but I guess ideally the highlights on the sprite should approach the brightness of the brightest background areas.

It's sort of hard to make out what's going on with the legs of the sprite even at the larger size, although the way the light seems to fall on the torso and head works fairly well I think.

GarageGothic

Reminds me quite a bit of Alkis' Other Worlds, which is surely a good thing. The characters seem to fit in fine (can't tell for sure without seeing them move around), but perhaps the first background is a bit too blurry.

R4L

Reminds me of Resident Evil in a way, with the 3D character and the static background.

I like it a lot. :)

Oliwerko

Definitely one of the most interesting photographic BGs I've seen.
I like the colors too, especially the first picture reminds me of the Settlers IV atmosphere  ;D

Lovely pics! Did you took them yourself?

Thanks!  I'm taking most of the pictures in the game, but the one on the bottom is a stock photo by Dave Mickleburgh (http://rafstock.deviantart.com/).  The wetlands around here don't have any huts, unfortunately.

Thanks for your input, guys!  I'll consider making the sprites a bit lighter.
