Body painting anyone?

No images yet, sorry.

But that's about to change, I hope. I'm here to ask, if you have any experience, because I myself find this very exciting. And me and my girlfriend are going to a rock festival next month, and we were thinking about spending the weekend naked dressed only in paint.

I know there are a lot of creative artists around here. What would you think would be the best type of paint/colour to use, and would it be bloody expensive/ what do you use/ do you find it erotic. If I can find the money, I'll definately post the pictures of me and my gf here, painted up as what ever we think is appropriate. I'm not sure she's ready to be completely naked though, you know with all the people around, though you see all those nudists everywhere. I jus happen to like the painted side of it somehow, don't know why. Well, it's a life long dream of mine, and it might be coming true, if I can find some proper paint, and some booze up in my veins :D It'll be a weekend to remember.

How about you? Do you do bodypaint? would you like to? What do you use?

Disco

I've not done anything too detailed, but I like to play with paint for sure :D The trouble is finding paint that is meant for use on your body and not for art projects :P the first one here I'm in a sparkling red tempera paint that was a little itchy but washed off rather well (although my bathtub looked like a disco for two days). In the others I am sporting acrylic, which comes off after some scrubbing, but does so readily. Between these and on a budget I would recommend a liquid tube of clown-ish makeup, you might need several bottles but they are nicer, and finish a bit powdery.

This next week my friend in the Latin 2uiz photo and I are going to try making some more painted photos using some extender over skin that has been lotioned to see if that help, though eventually I would like to invest in some cosmetic grade stuff that is used all over and is more opaque than what I normally use :/

Hi Disco :D

I thought you might show up here!

I was thinking of those fingerpaint colours we used to play around with in pre-school, but I'm really not sure where they get them from. I shall look into it a bit later on, when I have the time :)

I haven't done bodypainting myself (yet!), but I looked into it and I would really recommend buying paint especially made for the purpose, even if they are a bit more expensive. That will more or less guarantee you that they're safe, not causing allergies, possible to wash off without nasty chemicals and doesn't rub off too easily. Go for something water based since oil based colors tends not to dry properly and smears easily (oil based is good for faces, but it's not fun to bump into someone and smear hard-to-remove makeup all over their clothes).

Since you're going to be at a festival I would also recommend getting "dry" rather than bottled paint because it's easier to transport and also to apply. You just use a moist brush or sponge, a bit like painting water colors.

I personally have found the aerosol hairspray paint to give a very nice color...

Me of course being the one on the left. My friend on the right went with a more traditional "body paint" and we all see how well that worked. :P

I've used the hairpaint for 3 Halloweens now (shown above was the pilot 'ween) and it's worked quite well for me. As a matter of fact, this past Halloween it won me 3rd place in a competition at work that I didn't know was happening...$20 cash. Paid for itself. :D

I'm not sure how well it works on the nudies...but I find the color very nice. Though it does rub off...on EVERYTHING you touch....

Hey monkey_05_06, we are looking for another member for the Blue Man Group.  Give us a call and we can work something out.

Sincerely,
The Blue Man Group

The Blueman group group, of course, famously refuse to use body paint; preferring to secrete their unique colour from a gland every human has but only they know about.

Yep, you guessed it. It was a last-second impromptu idea that we should do the BMG however not one but two of his brothers flaked out as the third member. :P

Then there was the issue of us not being the same shade of blue and us both stupidly wearing white shirts and not having anything to really properly cover our hair so we got these stupid pantyhose caps at the dollar store....hehehe.

Oh my...it was terrible but so worth it. And we have an excuse to celebrate Halloween anyway coz it's his birthday.

Here's the award-winner:

This one was actually very dry and flaked off very easily...but hey...I had fun.
