I´ve tried to make a sprite that looks like these from the old sierra games like Gabriel Knight1, Quest for Glory4 or Kings Quest6. The method sierras animators and artists created these sprites was the "Blue-Box-Technique". An actor is photographed in front of a blue/green background which will be transparent later. Then the sprites will edited that it not seems like a photo. With this method the sprites are looking more realistic.

Well, that´s my result:

Dualnames

Well, it's not bad, but I'd sure love to see him animate. His hair seem a little weird..but  then again they must be.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Why can´t you see it? It´s big enough.

GreenBoy

It's not the size, it's the server I guess.

All I can see is the words "Pic-Upload.de  site don't allowed"

Digital Mosaic Games

Well, I think only you have this problem. :-\ In my case I can see it.

I can see it too.. and his pose looks pretty stiff.

Digital Mosaic Games

That´s because was standing stiff like a robot ;)
I did this because than I know this is ever my basic pose.
And if I for example pick up somethin(in the game) I go back to my basic pose and than I can unlock the view.
I think you know what I mean.

Oh.  So that won't be his standing still pose?  It would seem a little odd to go from relaxed stance, to a stiff and straight back and arms.  To bent arm grabbing something.  To stiff back and arms.  Back to the relaxed stance.

I'm confused. :P

edit: basically what I'm saying is: You shouldn't use this characters pose *ever* unless you actually want him to look like he's standing like a soldier or robot.

He's not the only one, I've been seeing the "Site don't allowed" thing as well. Might want to consider using photobucket or something if you want more feedback.

Yeah, me too, I mentioned it in the thread with your last sprites as well. I could see them when you added the direct link however.
