voh

The Genre question was a little weird for me. I would've appreciated an option to show that I'll play any genre, and enjoy it regardless/thanks to whatever genre it is, if it's done well :P

Did it anyway :)
Still here.

Allrightie, guess I can reveal the answers so far (but please keep responding), I think many answers are quite unexpected, but judge for yourselves.

Sorry, still trying to sort things out. This is overly complicated for some reason.
Patience!

Yay, it works! Excellent, thanks!

LOL at answers. Now someone will have to make a multiplayer/co-op romance game with a sex scene preferably starring naked Andail.

Edit: Can't figure out where the pie charts are - so not sure they work

Andail

Please confirm if you're able to view the pie charts...they're really what makes this worth the hassle...

Makes very intersting reading so far, good job Andail.  :)

EDIT: The Formular (apologies for lazyness) part is greyed out for me unless i'm looking at the wrong bit...

Matti

Yeah, it's greyed out. Do we have to be logged in or something?

Andail

Ok, un-publishing for some minutes and trying to find out how to publish the finished charts.

Wesray

I participated, although additional answer alternatives would have been nice in a few cases.

No pie charts for me either.

Ok, I'm at a loss here, can someone who's more computer savvy try and create a similar document and have the results shareable?
There is a very nice "results" page with nifty pie charts, but for some weird reason I can never share or link to that particular page, I can only share the raw excel sheet.

Stupot

Why not take a screencap of the piecharts and ost them here?

Ok, I've read up on several sites and apparently google docs don't allow users to share a summary of the results yet.

Update:
This is the best solution so far, although it's crap compared to just letting google docs publish the summary.

Here's a doc with pie charts and everything:

Wyz

I filled it out, actually quite informing, I 'score' completely mediocre. ;)
Life is like an adventure without the pixel hunts.

Dualnames

I liked the fact that people have trouble drawing, and most AGS people declare they draw ;D

It's quite explained if you look it closely though. Anyway, really really nice results there!
Where are the answers to question 17?
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

One thing I find interesting is that alot of people said they didnt find dialogue writing to be the most difficult part.

But i think dialogue is practically always the weakest point of AGS games (which a few notable exceptions, Blackwell, Trilby, Downfall (to some degree))

Babar

Turns out I´m a fairly average AGSer. Wooh!

I guess the dialogue thing is that very few people see the need to expand on that. Most people don´t expect more than "It is a door" "It is a key" "I will give you the key if you buy me get me a sandwich", and when they get more, it is a treat- considered something extra.

That's because everybody can write and make it look like dialogs. If I script some nonsense, the game won't work. If I write up some flimsy lines for my shallow characters, there is no debugger to stop me.

On another note: Also completed the survey and liked Science Fiction the most this time!

I, object.

Wesray

The reason why dialog can be hard for me is that I'm not a native English speaker. Otherwise it's not so bad. But I can't do music to save my life, so I chose that option. Of course I'm also weak when it comes to drawing, not that I let that stop me. ;D

All in all I'm also an average AGSer.

I'm curious who is that one person that plays AGS games everyday. Is that you, Dual?

HEY! But no. I just voted for the second option on that question.
