Considering that a lot of people with games in the database aren't forum regulars anymore, wouldn't it be possible to solve this server wide by rerouting 2dadventure links to a replacement image (in much the same ways that bmp files show up as an "I'm with stupid" thumbnail)? If we rely on every single user fixing this himself the problem could persist for months or years.

I fixed (I hope) all my posts linking to 2dadventure that I could change, but threads that have been locked will need an admin cleanup since we can't modify our own posts there.

I emailed the domain owner about this a few days ago and he solved the problem, restoring the images and folder permission, so everything should be working fine now. I'll confirm with him shortly if no new issues are reported here.
