my original game Phoenix 1 is finished...
you can download it from newly added games....its a bit large (1gb) but i think it's worth it.


the game is a sci-fi game with an investigative theme....and a twist ending....enjoy.

It's a self extracting rar and since my download broke off around 450 MB, I could unrar some files but eventually got the same error. I got all that's needed to play out of it but only the first 5 or so movies.

but anyway there is an error at the end of the files, I think last two or so

downloads, installs and runs OK here.

It runs just fine. I can understand the huge size now and I think it's worth it. The quality of the movies are really good. Some issues I have though:

- English. Please let someone correct the translation because there are way too many spellings- and grammar errors. This is really the largest negative point for me and I can see people stopping their game just because of it.
- Direction. Being inside the hive, you have no indication where you're going to. You just need to use each and every door to find out which is what and after you have you need to keep a very good track of the level and direction you are. It would be nice to tell which door it is by looking at it or a sign next to it.
- Strange. On the living level, room 202 has a yellow button. Looking at it says: I see a green button ..
- Looking at the mission briefing video, there's no translation so I have no idea what the mission is...


So far, I'm having fun exploring this world with very nice visual features.

hi guys , i looked in to the download problems you reported and it downloads fine here..so if it download incorectlly try stoping all of your torrent download and other stuff and leaving it on download for the night....


p.s - i discovered a thing that i missed ......when i added subs for the talking cutscenes i missed 1 file....to fix this problem do this:

just delete the file named:"26-missionbriefing.avi" and rename the file:"26-missionbriefing_1.avi" to "26-missionbriefing.avi"
and thats it ....you will have subtitles in this very importent plot key cutscene.

I've tested the file with 7-zip and it didn't report any error.

But then I spent 12 hours to download it (no, I'm not kidding  ), it gotta be good, or else...

The speech starts out in English and then changes to ?German - is that intentional?

it's not german...quite the opposit-it's hebrew ;

but the game writen language is english and in the cut scenes where they speak hebrew there are subtitles....so no worries

the reason for the language being not entirly english is because i made this game as a collage projact ,and not everybody knows english as well as they should
