Cool-'fighting'-chicks-in-very-nice-suits, steampunk german soldiers, orcs and more weird stuff.

Some reports were that the WB thinks this film is a mess, but since the sources for those rumours are not known, this might not mean anything. Plus "suits" rarely know a goood movie when they see one.

I think it's gonna be a good one, but again American film industry is gonna ruin it with PG13 rating (but since Snyder didi a good job on Watchmen, I think he'll save it), man that censorship ruined at least a 1000 movies that could have been much better.
In any case, almost fetishistcs waredrobe with hot women fighting various monsters...might be childish but it sounds like fun to me.

Been hyped about this for far too long, it looks incredibly badass! It's basically everything a typical male geek wants, in one film!

I just hope it's not another one of those films which try to fit a cockload of badass into a measly 90 minute runtime, we need a good couple of hours at least.

I really hope there will be an uncensored version/director's cut too because for the theatrical version they already took out:

* 18 minutes of fighting to finally get a PG-13
* a 'tame and mild love/sex scene' with Emily Browning (Baby Doll) and Jon Hamm.
* sexy dance scenes

There should be a director's cut of this movie, I guarantee it'd sell more than pg13 version. Besides it's rather easy to do that on bluray.

I don't know what exactly are tehy trying to do...are they gonna sell action figures for kids?! Although I wouldn't mind the rabbit robot statue to be on my desk.

Yeah, I got that. But again, is this movie not for +13 audience anyway. And usually stuff like superhero movies get PG13 ratings cause they want to sell the toys for kids, but I was making a point that even with ratings, this is not actually a movie for kids, it's more for adults with kids inside them.

I'm not 100% sure when just yet, but I'm already planning to go see this with my best friend and her husband. Comes out tomorrow, and I'm off, but I also lost $100 at work, so don't have the money for the film right now. =/

I for one was actually kind of glad that they fought to get the PG-13 rating though, because I knew that it would allow it to do better in theaters..but an uncensored director's cut probably wouldn't be too far fetched.

Going to an advanced screening of this on um, April 2nd?

I've been told there's no real story, it just looks good, a "visual orgasm". So I don't really know why I'm going to see it. I'm not really someone who goes "ooh wow look at that CGI" which I assume is the appeal of sucker punch.

Maybe I'm wrong. Why is everyone going mental about it yet I've never even heard of it? That image of all those women - is that the cast? Now I can understand why my mate wants to see it if it's an all woman cast, lol.

Oh well, I get to see it for free, so will take up that opportunity. And if it's all about the visuals, all the more reason to smoke a massive spliff beforehand.

And there's almost no real story:
A young girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather.
Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy,
she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility.
But hey, who cares if there are fighting woman in tight suits

I'm interested in seeing it, if only to see if Snyder can do something original.

300 and Watchmen are all fine and good, but they are more or less direct adaptations of the comics, with little flare. That's not to say they're bad (I like them!) but they involve little creativity on his part.

Of course, I haven't seen Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, but that's because I took an oath at the age of 3 never to see a film with that dumb a title.
