Vohaul's dead, I've stopped the lawyers. Got through the exterior section, I'm at a balcony looking at the shuttle, can't push the button, can't do anything in the corridor with pods/windows/deadly robot.

It's another "race the bad guy" thing.  Just have to make it to the escape pod before the robot gets you.

Generally, wait until the creature starts reaching for you, then hit jump at the very end of the swing the opposite direction.

I could avoid the robot fine but interacting with the escape pods game me a message along the lines of "they are locked and can not be used at this time".

I waited for the countdown to reach the end while I was standing in the round corridor, it went from 0:01 to 0:0 and nothing happened. When I left the room, the game crashed with an error about using a blocking event in repeatedly_execute_always.

I went left to right and had no problem.

Well, I finished the game with 225 points. I guess some tasks that earn you points were not necessary? Or there are better endings if you complete them?

I tried to lubricate the button for the escape pods with my tongue, but (fairly obviously) electrocuted myself. And the death message said I hadn't searched the bathroom enough.

That's important, then? I went right, I couldn't go left due to the robo-masher.

Yeah, the robo-masher is on both sides (I believe it actually curves around and is the same room).  Try going to the left and luring it towards you, then go all the way around to the right and try getting in the escape pod.
