New game from Yahtzee

Ben 'Yatzhee' Croshaw is making a new game!

It's called Poacher and you can read about it on his blog. It's a platformer and reminds me a bit of Knytt's games.

How so? Looks more like Duke Nukem and Electro Body kind of stuff to me with possible homages to Super Mario Bros and Super Meat Boy and Jazz Jackrabbit and Metroid and Abobo's Big Adventure.

Ah, good old talk of Monster Bash, Halloween Harry, Jazz Jackrabbit...

Epic and Apogee made some awesome platformers. I was a PC kid so they get me all warm and nostalgic. I hear Castlevania and just stare blankly, lol.

I remember not getting far in Monster Bash because I recall it being quite unforgiveable with its difficulty - and it looks like this game could be along similar lines. Bring it on!!!

The game isn't, no, but Yahtzee is (or was) AGS-related, ergo it is something adventure-related
