So, why the downtime?

Wasn't the Bake Sale originally supposed to pay for a better server? When I heard that CJ wanted to give the money to Child's Play instead, I hoped that didn't mean the server doesn't get upgraded.

The forums have been sluggish and unresponsive when they're up for some time now, is something being done about this?
(I'm not demanding anything in case it sounds like that, I simply would like some info.)

Something needs to be done, because in short; This sucks ass. The original intention of the Bake Sale was to indeed get a new server for CJ to freshen up the forums, but CJ turned it down because he told us that the forums didn't need a new server, he just needed to maintain it better/clean it out (or something or other) or some shit. I can't remember, my memory is shit. But anyway, because CJ said we don't need a new server, that is why we decided on a charity instead (Child's Play).
