Hi,

I recall there was a module meant for managing that kind of displays :

...but I've been searching the forums and I can't find it anywhere. Anybody remembers what's its name or where it is?

I don't know for the digital display.  :(
But for a analogical clock, there is this french module.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm definitely looking for digital.

Can't be too hard to write. Since I've got some free time maybe this'll be my next project.

Just out of curiosity, what this module is supposed to do? Is this about drawing digits with lines, or displaying digits with sprites, or?

Phemar

I thought about both ways of doing it, and I think sprites would probably look better and offer more options for customization.

That's why I'm looking for it. I can't remember how it worked internally.
Bah, nobody seems to remember it. I'll code something quick myself -- if needed.

Incidentally, the numbers in the image above create an interesting illusion that they're moving sideways when you scroll the screen up and down. Well, I thought it was interesting, anyway.

Hah. True :).
You just have to use smooth scroll, not step scroll, for distinct effect.
Ummm.... anyway....
