Hi folks,

I decided to start this topic because I think that is important to talk about websites where you can expose your own games and your demo-games.
I'm an Italian indie game maker and I discovered a wonderful portal about indie and casual games (built up in 2011) where users can submit and show their works(complete games or simply demo games) and release them to the players.

I think that websites like that can be very helpful to indie game makers like most of you.

The portal is called FreankExpo   http://www.freankexpo.net ; it was made by Italian guys but it is avaible in english, italian, french, german  and spanish languages and users come from all over Europe. Games showed and downloadable are in english, italian, french, german  and spanish languages. There are all genres avaibles (RPGs, action, adventure, ecc...)  and there is a classification based on points collected by posting comments, rating games and publishing games. The staff makes periodic contests and tournments for players and developers, to enjoy them and collect more points.
There is a panel where you can manage your games, there are channels youtube, facebook and twitter to increase the visibility of the games, You can upload the screen of the game directly on the site (I think without size limits, cause I uploaded very big files). There is a good system notifications (for example if someone comments your game, you will receive a notification. Even if your game is changed or there will be a reply to your comment.) and the most important thing: there is a sort of Graph visible only to those who entered the game in the game-page that shows the number of downloads and visits.
The links for downloading your games can be changed at any time and demos can be turned into complete game any time.

The portal contains over 350 games!

Just to give you an example of a game page, here's the game page of one of my games:

check it out: http://www.freankexpo.net

I think that my post is: Helpful.

Hopefully soon new.agsarchives.com will be moved to agsarchives.com and get officially launched with a fully working developer dashboard, then you will be able to upload your games (and do more) there too ;).

Hi Everyone.
Just to say that in FreankExpo Site there are some news:
- New HomePage
- New Game-Page
- FreankExpo-Arena : The ability to defy another game (with the same language and type  of yours). And then to be rated for 10 days by other users. (To defy a game just click the button "Defy it"in the Arena-page).
  - Events  : the admins of partner sites can create and / or promote events. And all users can participate and ask questions.
- New Grapichs
- More Social : you can share the games on Facebook and /or Twitter
- New Gallery
- Most visibility to the last games included

The next objectives:
-> Reach 500 games.
-> More sexy girls on the site
-> New rankings to valorise the winner games of the Arena.

I hope it can be useful to everyone who wants to give visibility to their AGS-games!

Does it host the game file? Or do you have to do it elsewhere?

The website seems promising (judging from the screenshot). The website is still loading and quit heavy (over 1.2 MB 8-0)! I'll give it a try.

Just tried adding my game, and got an error.  Was taken back to the upload page and had to re-add screenshots, and then tried again to get a Page Not Found.

wow, it's incredible to see that there is a topic about this project! And it is incredible that since 2012 it is still up  :-D

I discovered few AGS games there (made by LostTrainDude). They recently uploaded a video rewind about the video games uploaded during the 2024.

I am on their Discord server. I will try to take this topic updated!
