I was saddened by this when I found out. The Scummbar forum was the first forum I can remember frequenting.

Why wouldn't they re-open?  Can't they just go to the wayback machine (internet archive) and make copies of what they've "lost".  That's what I'd do if I was any of those affected sites.

Well, Scummbuddy, I´ve been told they have all the work in backups, but they´re tyred of Monkey Island (Don´t ask me why  ) and the hacker attack has been the trigger to leave the project.

Blame on the webmasters also!

The first website I really came across when I got the Internet many years ago, and one I've visited regularly since. It's very very sad, and things won't be the same again. Isn't there anybody staying 'on board'? It seems so sudden, it hasn't seemed to have died a slow death.
