I agree with anti-porn guy's point about sex within marriage.  I feel sex is something that should be kept within the holy state of matrimony.  I think his punishments for pornography are too extreme.

In fact, porn shouldn't really be banned, but sending it to people's e-mail without autorization should be illegal.

I think that website is probably a hoax. It's really just a bit TOO much, and it definitely reads like it was designed to get people angry.
The only part I even remotely agreed with was about alchohol and tobacco. Evil, evil stuff, I don't think either should be banned, but certainly wish that people stopped relying on such substances.

I think people should look at pornography all they want -- it's only a natural reaction to their hormones kicking in.

I could tell David Macknamera's website was a joke once I got down to the imprisonment terms for pornography.

There's nothing really wrong with porn between consenting adults and such. It's getting into the pain and blood and animals and children and dead people where porn gets wrong in my opinion.

I agree that porn and the overall freedom with porn, easy access and such, which has affected society... but I mean, what hasn't affected society! Hell, in the last couple hundred years the human race found this wonderful thing called tolerance, now black people and women get a fair go.

I'm not so sure it was a joke.

I mean, Jokes like this aren't uncommon (ie the how to play counterstrike video), but this guy has obviously spent a very long time indeed doing this site and leaves very little joke, no matter how subtle, to suggest he thinks otherwise.
I'd like to think it was a joke, but I'm having difficulty with that theory.

Also, it's not the site that bothers me, spoof or not, it's mainly OneManArmy. I feel a little silly about involving an entire board in what's basically a flame war... serves me right for trying to think straight at 3:00am.

Still, I guess it brings up some issues to discuss.

Well. I've spent years (countless hours, hundreds of pages of handwritten markup, hundreds of handmade images) to make my own parody pages and none of them really have a disclaimer for being a parody.  My own humour isn't really flame bait type but I don't think there is any question whether this one is a parody or not. The same goes to OneManArmy.

I don't understand why the fact that someone has spend long time in making something somehow makes it more likely to be serious? I for one take my humour very seriously, and I would spend just as much if not more time to make a site for a hoax as I would on a site about my pet dog or whatever serious.

Also i dont think this is a joke website, as i said earlier I have MET many people with the same views, I dont fight with them, but i debate any and all points they bring up. nine times out of ten they cant back up what they belive, and end up looking silly...
I have also spoke to a person who was sent to jail for beating up guys, he has served his time and is sorry for what he did, he blamed it on "hanging around with the wrong group" another reason we have to be careful about websites like that one. Young people can be molded to belive far out views and do very evil acts with out really knowing what they are doing or why.

It is sad for the child, obviously, as he/she will/might undergo all sorts of psychological trauma during and after the act has been committed. I have no idea of this trauma, I've never met anyone who has been raped, let alone as a child. Well, there was one girl who claimed to it, but quite frankly she seeked much attention, especially where males were concerned. I'm not saying she deserved it, but the way I saw her toy with a lot of guy's emotions was quite frankly awful.

Society believes that while a 15 year old may be mature, a 15 year old cannot and should not have to make a decision about sex. I don't have to preach the repurcussions of sex. But a 15 year old girl shouldn't have to deal with the social stigma of her friends... beliddling her and calling her a slut. A 15 year old girl shouldn't have to choose whether an abortion is the right thing to do. A 15 year old girl shouldn't contract AIDS or be HIV positive before she's even had the chance to start living. A 15 year old girl shouild not have sex.

There's always a handul of people who believe hoaxes like that. For the reactions of those people it's worth to spend time doing the site. I'm ready to bet my left arm and a leg that this site is nothing but 100% flame bait. Sure there are people with views quite different from what we believe in, but this one has "HOAX" written all over it with bright, flashing neon lights.

Yes, it's a well known fact that people on the internet will lie just to get people arguing. And people will exaggerate to "make a point"
Take www.landoverbaptist.org for example. While the satire of that site is a little more blatant, a lot of people think it's for real. The internet is anonymous, so how long would it take for someone to realize they could get even more people bickering if they made a site like that without the satire? To me the anti-porn guy's website looks like he just listed as many unpopular (on the net) opinions that he could think of.
Even if it is real, there's no way someone like that could make it into office. Politics are sort of wishy-washy if you haven't noticed. This guy's views would offend even most Christians.
As for OneManArmy, he could easily be trolling too. But to play the devil's advocate... I don't think lusting for 15 year old girls is even classified as pedophilia, and it's certainly no where near as bad as true pedophilia, necrophelia, or bestiallity. Especially if you're still in your 20s, which OneManArmy may be... It IS probably better off illegal though, but there are liberal countries where the age of consent is 16, and they don't seem to have too many problems. Is 15 worse?

You're forgetting something people.  The US Federal age of consent is 18.  However, some states have different laws.  The law in North Carolina states that 15 is the age of consent (The age at which a person is old enough to decide whether he/she is ready for the responsibility of sexual intercourse).  

Personally, I think onemanarmy is merely playing the devil's advocate.  He makes a point that might be a good one if he could support it but his argument falls flat when he simply states things as BEING/NOT BEING true without any justification for his statements.  He is stating that homosexuality is a deviency and as such should be on the same level as other fetishist sexual acts.  If it were actually comparable to the ones he mentioned, he might have a point.  The counterpoints to his arguments effectively nullified them.  Still, I get the feeling that he's arguing his point for the sake of debate and I don't believe it's anything to get incensed about (at least in the "real" world, Flip.)

I say it's a hoax, just so I don't have to believe that anyone could actually feel that way for real. I first thought that www.landoverbaptist.org was for real, until a few seconds later when I read more of it. I've learned not to be so gullible.

I once fell for a scam where you could supposedly get a person's Yahoo! password if you emailed some weird important-sounding yahoo email address with your email and password, and the "victim's" email address, then add in some realistic-looking CGI mumbo-jumbo.

Within seconds, I thought "Oh shit! That was stupid!" and immediately changed my email password, realizing that I was the one being victimized.

Like I said, I've learned no to be so gullible. Plus, if only one man really felt that way about everything, what could he do if the general consensus is the exact opposite? It would like if only one man out of the 250 million or so people in the U.S. wanted to legalize marijuana. One out of 250,000,000 aren't good odds.

So I wouldn't worry abot it. Looking back at that site, I actually laughed.
