Never made an adventure before? Me neither. Let's team up for a really short debut -

if you like:

• colouring up to three backgrounds. Screen size around 485x300px, a vibrant pixel look like Sam n' Max might be nice.
  I could provide sketches or help with palettes if interested. - found someone really good
• composing a melody. - caught John Barry junior
• scripting in AGS, ideally for a beginner to learn by doing. A one-click-UI would be good. - a code warrior stepped up
• writing few witty lines. - talent hired
• shaping and animating character sprites - just me doing that.

The annual Release Something! threads were always fun. Are there any plans to hold one again in upcoming Winter season?

That should motivate many. And give enough time to produce something (if not already been made).
