Any suggestions for how I should word the warning to be clearer?

I think the issue is SMF 2.1 added support for [youtube] out of the box, which is probably affecting the plugin's more extensive use of the tag.

Yup from me and Tamara!  I was planning on raising the subject in the new year, but looks like you got there first.

Just another example of how nobody understands the way embedded YouTube videos is supposed to work. Is it completely impossible to do anything about, so that it will accept a full URL rather than just the ID?

You're welcome to try...  Plugin is here, and SMF core here.  I can give you access to the dev test forums if you have an idea of how to fix it.

When do you actually want it to end?

The previous restore was against the string "youtube".  Which excluded "youtu.be"...  I've done the restore again, and reapplied the tagging fix.  I have also liberally applied super glue to my fingers, so they can't be uncrossed again!

Turns out I replaced all the YouTube URLs with just the IDs, rather than just the YouTube BBCoded ones.  I've restored from the backup, and will reapply the intended fix... eventually...

Fingers crossed, all YouTube URLs should be restored, and [youtube] tags fixed.

I can at least do some database magic to update all the YouTube tags to only use the IDs.

I have this unusual usability problem, likely because I have mod rights in certain threads, "Quick edit" button also shows for me on other peoples posts, and I keep clicking on it occasionally when trying to reply... Good thing I was able to notice what i do wrong before saving the post.
Is there a way to make it more distinct when it's not on my own posts perhaps? I don't want to remove someones text by mistake...

I've changed the label to "Quick Edit (Other's)" on moderators' posts.

Trying to login in AGS Wiki takes me back to the forum, and when I access AGS Wiki, it's not logged anymore.

It looks like my "trophies" ("X worked on one or more games that won/were nominated for an AGS award") are not showing under my profile pic. Is there a setting I've missed somewhere that I need to enable in order to display them? Or are my itch/twitter icons overriding them?

Yeah, when I said "show fine", I meant it rendered as you'd probably expect, linebreaks and all.  Only the hide example didn't.  All tags are handled programmatically, so I'd expect any nested tag will break:

EDIT: or not...  Perhaps it's just the code tag library JS specifically then!

In your first example both code blocks show fine for me.  In the second one, it seems to work fine if it isn't wrapped in a hide tag.  I'd assume the code formatting plugin's parser doesn't recognise code blocks when they're nested inside another tag.

Yeah, the new forums version doesn't seem to work properly with the MediaWiki integration anymore.  I'm working on it.

Is it possible to retrieve the topic ID of a thread?

I've added a "#" button to the top left of every thread, with a link to the un-prettified URL.

Actually, I've just realised it directs to the inbox not the sent items. But I think if you change /?sa=sent to /?f=sent , that might do the trick.

Thanks for all the work you've been putting into this AGA. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a link for sent posts (or even an 'outbox' button) in the dialogue box that comes up when you click on the messages icon on the top bar.

imgzoom no longer works; the plugin that provided it has been deprecated.  However, now all img tags will automatically be added to an image gallery that allows zooming.  Click on any img-tagged image and it'll launch the gallery:

I just experienced a problem. I can't post when I'm on a VPN. It gives me a CleanTalk error that I didn't save, but said something about being on a suspicious network. Given that I'm logged in to my account, this seems a bit strict.

I've gone through and whitelisted all the CleanTalk-blocked users I could find.  Please do let me know if anyone else mentions and issue though, and I'll add them to the list.

Turns it was just an admin setting to show or hide the post topic!  Reenabled now.
