I played Sims for a few weeks and it never crashed. My sister plays it, and it never crashes. Maybe your PC just doesn't like it.

Har, that is the stupidest thing Maxis could have done. One of the biggest selling points of The Sims was that it would run on any PC (my sister used to play it on a P233). By giving Sims 2 such high minimum specs, they've pretty much cut their audience in half. I doubt many middle-aged housewives and young children are gonna upgrade their PCs just to play that one game.

ARGH! What the hell is a 'British accent'?! Britain is comprised of four countries - Republic of Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England. There are lots of different accents within each country, let alone within Britain itself.

Heh I made the game myself and I can barely remember how to play it. And yeah, shbazjinkens, the interface is a little buggy, but the game is usually complete-able
