QuoteTheir weekly bookings for the summer season begin on Friday, so it would have to start from 3 to 10 July if we wish to do the first week.

How bizarre. Personally I'd rather have a more classic rental period from saturday to saturday if possible (day off on friday counts double in my company).

Is that a deal breaker for you?  Because it seems Fri - Fri is standard in that area.  And this is by far the cheapest place I've found - most places *start* at twice the price, and get waaay more expensive.

Cotswolds would definitely be easiest for those flying in. It's also closeish to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Stratford and such visitables.

Oh, I forgot to say, what do we think about Sat 04 - Sat 11 July for the dates?

Basically a bunch of AGSers meet up and share a house for a week. Activities depend entirely on the place and area. Generally there's four or five days of hanging out doing geeky stuff like playing board games, two or three days of outside activities in the surrounding areas. AGS game development is very much not a focus!

So, some possible locations.  I've tried to keep the price reasonably low (<£250pp for the week), and in a nice countrysidey area, avoiding people sharing beds as much as possible:

Cotswolds, Chipping Campdenhttps://www.vrbo.com/8124682ha?adultsCount=10&arrival=2020-07-04&departure=2020-07-11£154
Peak District, Millers Dalehttps://www.vrbo.com/8124570ha?adultsCount=10&arrival=2020-07-04&departure=2020-07-11£178.50
Lake District, Conistonhttps://www.vrbo.com/8628066ha?adultsCount=10&arrival=2020-07-04&departure=2020-07-11£230.13

I'd assume we'd struggle to get to any of these places by public transport, but the Cotswolds at least are closer to Bath and Oxford (and London airports), so should be easier to access.

I'm more inclined to go with the Cotswolds personally, since it's much easier to access.  Any thoughts?  We shouldn't leave it much longer, since I guess these places will fill up sooner or later...

That happens when someone reports your game's image as broken, to prevent the page wasting time trying to load a nonexistant image.  I've changed it back.

I don't know what it is, but I edited the post to test quoting it with removing then readding the & and it quotes fine now.

The XML isn't valid if the post contains an ampersand, so I think this will be broken for any post that contains one. Try to quote me & see. It also breaks the preview.

Incorrect!

(I fixed that issue a while ago).

No idea, but given you're the only person to ever mention this, and it's only for one post, it's really not worth the effort of trying to fix it.  You really don't know how complicated SMF is!

On a side note, the main screenshot for "A night in Berry" is gone and I can't put another one back.

I think "A date in the park" had screenshots too.

Fixed.  Someone had marked the downloads and images for both games as broken.

Apparently it's a problem with the very latest release of FF.

Is that a known issue in the latest Firefox?

No idea what's happening, but ultimately it's out of our control.  Sorry!
#393
That isn't on this site.  As I said, we take no responsibility for any external sites people may link to.

Weird bug, where if you have zero authors set you don't get the option to add any when editing.  I'll fix it soon, but in the meantime I added Desomorpheus as first listed author in the database.
#395
Try again, should be fixed now.
#396
Great, thanks for the report and for rechecking.

Everything on this site is 100% safe.  I can't guarantee anything for any sites or files linked to from here though.  Can you give me examples of links that McAfee is warning are unsafe?

I was doing some database cleanup the other day, and 11 games ended up with duplicate primary Windows download fields.  I've cleared them out now, so should be as expected again for those games!

I've fixed the issue that was preventing editing.  Users can't delete their own games regardless, so it would have required a game game admin's input!
