I really enjoyed this, Hobbes. Although it was very short, it had a nice drama to it, and nice characterisation. A longer game would be great.

Sierra are almost certain to re-apply for it as soon as it runs out though.

I think there was gonna be a game centred around the AGS community before... Quite a few sprites of 'famous' AGSers got made...

www.agagames.com/Adventure%20Game%20Studio%202.31.zip - I believe this was the last DOS version...

You should really raise this point on the RON forums - http://pub49.ezboard.com/brealityonthenorm

From what I've seen of games made with AGAST (Ozzie, Eye of the Kraken), it doesn't seem to be very good. The games are buggy and have obvious graphical glitches...

I think he maybe means the space theme wouldn't be appropriate for what he's trying to do...?

I'm afraid it's been tried before and failed. There have been quite a few large team projects over the years that have failed... Your idea of 'one man, one room' has also been tried, with Demo Quest II, which never got very far...

P.S.: Wrong forum, moving to Adventure Talk and Chit Chat.

Not in Wales, we don't. When I was in school (up until June this year) we had a maximum of one assembly a week, and that was voluntary...

I agree, SQIII was probably the best SQ game, the plot and puzzles should be left intact. It should be a VGA remake, not an enhancement.

*SIGH* There's absolutely nothing wrong with constructive criticism, it's only when you and Vel were saying the KQIII project was awful without any real justification that we got pissed. I'm not gonna delete any criticism as long as it has a reason...

Sounds like a good idea, I would definitely be up for it. The only real problem I can think of is that if it's not well-advertised enough, and if no professional developers, or amateur developers from other communities, come, it could end up just a 'Mittens plus demos' sort of thing...

You wouldn't have to lock or delete the threads, m0ds, 'cause we mods have this nifty 'merge topics' thing...

I scored 20%, which apparently is below average and means I may have something to hide...

That time is how long it takes the PHP to generate the page and its text, not any multimedia crap that might be on the page...
