* AGA wonders why Flippy_D always associates him with gay jokes. Maybe he fancies AGA...

It's Wolfenstein 3D, but the hands holding the gun are from Police Quest 2: The Vengeance.

Denis Leary is a comedian. Timothy Leary however was a hippy bloke from the sixties/seventies, iirc.

It leaves at 9:50 on the 28th, not 10:50, btw
#4048
If you book it and it ends up you can't come, you won't get a refund :( But I'm sure you'll be able to scrape together enough to get by...

It uses a verbcoin... you've gotta hold the mouse down over a hotspot for it to appear.

I'm a big Pratchett fan too, but I've read them all before...

Recently though I've been reading Robert Rankin. Very amusing, good stories. I've gone through three or four in quick succession and I'm in the middle of another now.

he probably just had it cached in his browser

My mother got the PS/2 chipped and it works fine most of the time. It refuses to play some DVD videos though, but I suspect this is just because the DVDs aren't PS/2 compatible (I've seen PS/2 compatible written on DVD movie cases, so surely there are PS/2 uncompatible ones, right?)

Still, it's the price you pay for cheapy games :)

Okay, I've deleted all the posts refering to the Hitler Arts thing, but please keep it out, it could easily offend a lot of people.

Thank you very much, works perfectly :)

Pity I can't understand the scripting, but as long as it works, it doesn't really matter... Thanks again :D

I managed to play GF through about two or three times on my last PC, a 450MHz PIII. I tried to play it again recently-ish on my newer 2GHz machine and I got about halfway through and it crashed and ate my savegames :O

Oops, I clicked the wrong button to move it  :-[ Could a moderator move this to Games in Production please?

I've used LucasFan's CMI GUI template, and that works fine outside the inventory. However when you right-click to open the inventory, the verbcoin doesn't work inside the inventory, left-click selects an item and right-click looks at it. Has anybody managed to get the verbcoin to work inside the inventory, like in CMI, too?

7200 spins faster tgab 5400, which means the data can be read from the harddisk faster... go for 7200 if it doesn't cost that much more...

The rest of the system sounds pretty good...
