You might remember The Doll, my interactive horror story that I mentioned here before. I continued developing interactive horror stories under the name -prepare yourself- Interactive Horror Stories! They are in the style of Choose Your Own Adventure; you make choices, they change the plotline and bring you different endings. You encounter various evil entities in this stories (humans are entity, too).

There are 6 stories right now, which can be played in mobile devices (iOS, Windows Phone 8.1/10, Android) and computers (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Stories
The Doll is a story that begins as a classical possessed doll story, but ends differently.

After Funeral
is a modern gothic story. You receive messages those claim to be sent by your deceased son, who died three days ago.

In Crystal Skull, you are a king, whose daughter is ill and about to die. You hear about a miraculous crystal skull and have it brought to your palace in order to cure your ill daughter. But your man warns you that the skull might be cursed.

Evil Beneath the Ground is about discovering an unimaginable horror that lurks beneath the ground.

You are billionaire in Crystal Skull II this time. You buy the mysterious crystal skull and it talks to you. It says that it will bring you joys no mortal can ever reach, but it demands something first.

Madness in Infinite Loop is a story about a man who is doomed to wake up to the same morning, no matter what he does. You want to die, but you wake up in your bed each time you die. When nothing you do matters, can you keep your sanity and morals?

Links
You can play the computer versions at GameJolt or itch.io. Links for mobile versions are at Aslan Game Studio page.

I also want to reach much more people at Steam, I'd really appreciate your help on my Greenlight campaign: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=861752386

Did you try the installer version of 3.4, or did you use the 2 zip files? Maybe the installer helps? (though if your ags is in x86 that sounds like you used the installer)..
I used the installer.

AGS Engine & Editor Releases / Re: AGS 3.4.0

I tried running AGS 3.4.0.13 as administrator and compiling Linux game this way. No, the required Linux files didn't get copied for me. I am on Windows 10 without antivirus (I've recently formatted the PC).

Game is on D:/Lost Answers, AGS is at C:\Program Files (x86)\Adventure Game Studio 3.4.0.

Edit:
I thought it was because of the white space in the folder name. I tested in LostAnswersTest folder, still the same error.

I also noticed that the Linux files had to be added seperately when I worked on Lost Answer's Linux release. I had to unzip the files each time I compiled the game. Is it possible to make those files added automatically?

I don't expect to actually gain any award, but I'd still want to be nominated.

Story
Story
"There was a dead guy lying in my apartment. He was shot with one bullet to the head. And my memory was all blank. Was I his murderer?

The police was after me, that made things much worse. While running from the police, I met a mysterious man. He told me that he will help me to find the answers. But he asked me to do something, first.

He wanted me to kill a harlequin called Hal. I'd find him in an abandoned manor at the desert.

I had to find that harlequin called Hal. I didn't want to murder anyone, but I didn't know what our confront would lead us. Maybe I was a cold-blooded killer and I didn't know yet?"

In the manor, you will confront some mysterious characters and your past with a sadist woman, Femme Fatale.

Possible awards
Best Short Game
Best Writing

I didn't count graphics, because most of the models are from Unity Asset Store.

AGS has an important part in my teenagehood, too.

We released Winter Edition for Graveyard Shift :P

Honestly, I am not even sure if Chapter 4 will exist :( The status of our collaboration project got quite complicated. I might end the story with another game of mine, then it will probably be the same style.

Thank you!

The Femme Fatale music is composed by my friend, ÇaÃ,,Ÿlar Šžahin, for this game.

All other chapters are developed by different people and have different styles. https://talhakaya.itch.io/whereishe is the first game of the story. The second chapter is not released yet, but you might remember the cartoonish screen at the start of Lost Answers. Those were from the second game.

I updated the game, that bug is fixed. If you want to watch a video of what happens next, there is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjtPdYciI9Q  (yes, the game was released on itch.io a few months ago).

Thank you all!

@morganw:
I'm investigating it now. I will upload a new version when I fix it.

Lost Answers is a horror/thriller adventure game. It is inspired by David Lynch films (especially Lost Highway), but has an original story.

Development Story
This is actually the third chapter of an unfinished indie collaboration project. You don't need to play the previous games in order to enjoy Lost Answers. The first one is Where is He?, the second one is not released yet.

Did you model this all in 2 days or howlong that jam was?
Oh no, I had bought the models from Unity Asset Store and other places. I would never finish the game in 2 days if I did the modelling.
#37
Thanks! Point and click.
#38
I made a small game for #AsylumJam2016, using models I bought from Unity Asset Store. It is kind of like a David Lynch film.

Story
You wake up in a dirty bathroom, you have no memory about who you are and where this place is.

I started using the new version for my jam game.

However, I was confused by website which says 3.4.1, instead of 3.4.0.

General Discussion / Re: Weird dreams

Falling teeth is a common theme for dreams.

I usually forget my dreams, but they are weird enough. I could earn a million if I could record my dreams and sell them as videos.
