Hi people... I am doing this in PSP... I am looking for a Sam and Max Style, but I don´t care if it is not an exact copy of the style. The problem is that I´ve read in Miez´s tutorial that he likes to Anti Alise by hand.

That means that there is an automatic way to do it? I am going crazy with the soften tool. No matter if you know the function in PSP or PS, I have both.



P.S. Feel free to criticise the composition or whatever, but have in mind that the wings of the building are totally unfinished.

Sorry! I need your help! I can´t upload the files of my game to Barcik´s page, something wrong happens with tripod... Could please someone of you host the files (They´re 13 megas in zip)? I know it is a lot, but they will be only downloaded once, by Barcik, so, it won´t be a waste of bandwith.

I dessesperately need someone to host that files, if not, a wonderful 50 rooms 40 characters game won´t see tha daylight.

P.S. Yeah, It´s the sekrit project, but there will be a password for unzipping the files...

MITTENS 2005 BENIDORM CANDIDATURE

Ok… AGSers agree that MITTENS 2004 will be in North America. The next logical step could be to organize MITTENS in Australia, but… is that practical? Let´s remind that Australia is far away from ALL (except for aussies, hehe…)

Let´s face it… We won´t meet LasNaranjas if he doesn´t come here (At least till the very special 10th edition of Mittens, when we will gather all the AGSers, the 10,000 of us, in the year 2012)

So, what can we do? Come back to the place where Mittens was breed? To the UK? No! We (you) can go (come) to Benidorm!

Benidorm has a lot of things. A whole British town where the brits can drink beer till their stomachs explode! A place where their jokes will be understood, a place where they could buy their nice t-shirts (Help, I´m lost and I can´t find my beer!)




Not all the MITENNERS are brits, but, as the English is recognised as the Universal language, Greeks, Swedish and Polish guys won´t probably have problems with such a British atmosphere.



Well… What could we do when the sun shines? Well, Benidorm has more then 10 kms of beaches, two theme parks and a Water park, a wax museum, a medieval dinner show…



A nice town with more of 400,000 (340,000 of them tourists) people to chat and have fun with! With a nearby airport, direct flights from Stanstead.

Hi people! I am just writing this to introduce my girfriend Lorena (La Lore) to the community. She does not know much of English, nor programming or painting with the comp, but she will start the "Painting Course" by Farlander in two weeks time.

Hey... Sure you know that new virus (A worn, in fact...) who demands a lot of information to the CPU about some subject. The cpu can´t provide that info and the pc crashes. It is a virus who attacks millenium and XP, I think... I´ve seen recently a page who told me that I´ve had that virus, but that warning message was in a windows XP style... and I have win98! It is clearly a fake, specially because you can see the "shapes" that the "jpgation" makes to the image.

So... take the necessary precautions, but don´t be so worried if you see that screen.

Has anyone seen it also?

Today two bombs had exploded in Benidorm, my city, and Alicante, the Shire Capital located 40 kms. at the South. I don´t want to create a discussion about that... just say I´m ok, and how I hate basque terrorists.

I hope none of the woundeds will become worse.

There are some TV series called "Ed". I love them. One of the best moments in the series are during the 10 bucks beats. Ed and Michael (The main character and his best friend) make funny bets. They´re quite embarassing, but they´re not annoying, not for the players, nor for the people suffering the bets. Some examples:

- Michael bets Ed to demand a date to a girl in a bar... (With the mouth full of peanuts)

- Michael bets Ed to demand a Daikiri... Telling daikiri  20 times. Ed says... "Waiter! Give me a Daikiri, Daikiri, Daikiri, Daikiri, Daikiri, Daikiri...!"

That´s the idea... Could we do something simillar in Mittens? Maybe 10 Euros is too much, but I think 5 E bets, or 3, would be nice.

Rules:

- You can´t bet people to show their nudity.
- you can´t bet make something that will last (For example, bet people to make a tatoo or an ugly haircut).
- You can´t bet people to make something very nasty, or very annoying for the players or the people.
- You can´t bet people to make something dangerous (for example, split into a 120-kilos swedish guy...)

Hello... This are some paints I´ve made for a project I have in mind. It is about a Mossad (The israeli Intelligence Service) Mission, where three men are preppaired to travel along the time and kill Hitler in the "best" moment possible (All the moments are good for killing bastards of that kind, but, If you´ve read Asimov´s Foundation series you´ll know that are times better than others in history...)

Well, the three men are deployed in one of the WWI battlefields, but a bomb wounds the military advisor of the mission. The two other decide to help Hitler to reach the power and win the next WWII for gaining an overwhelming power.

Edit: I´ll need help if this project goes on... PM me, specially programmers and arist whose art fits with mine (this goes for you Proskrito  )

Years pass and things are going well for the Nazi regime... The two traitors have important information about history and future tecnologies to make Hitler rule the word, but... In a battle in the last struggle for defeating Moscow, a Nazi general receives a hit in his head and reminds the past, and the mission in which he MUST succed.

Help this guy in changing the history, help the Red army to change its fate and convince US to help the Allies in the War in Europe.


Please, C+C the wardrobes... which do you like? Would you do changes?

Important notice: This project shows severall nazi stuff. The main itself is an important Wehrmacht General (which doesn´t necesarilly mean he is a damn nazi). If you´re offended by this stuff make me know and I´ll see how to change the storyline, I don´t wan´t to offend nobody.

Last night I was watching tv and looking the news about the terrorist strikes in Israel.

I don´t want to start a topic about the conflict in Middle East, but I thought... hey... If my friend Barcik is involved in one of these strikes... How could I know that?

Then I realised that we´re more or less 1000 members and there are possibilities for some of us (I hope not) of being involved in an accident,  even... dying...

How could our friends of AGS know that? Is there a database or something to post important news on our lifes? Marriages, divorces... there are a lot things that matter.

I propose to create a secret database were the "important" people of the ags could follow the movements of the people who voluntarily enter in that database.

So, if something bad happens, we could know the fate of our mates when they give no signals of life.

What d you think? maybe this is the most stupid proposal in AGS history, but I´m posting this at a very late hour (for me 00:03, wow!)

Is there a command for making events aleatory? It should be a great step for making RPG games... I mean... Imagine I want to do a game like Pirates! by Sid Meyer. I would put a command that should work for calculate the result of a sea battle considering the cannons, the size of the ship, the skills of the capitan... Can that be done?

I also remember a room of Indy4 where Sophia must guess the fingers of the hand that Dr. Trottier hides. And it´s aleatory because i´ve saved the game and tested 1,2,3,4 & 5 and that didn´t work.

And, if this has been asked before, sorry, I´m not very into script.

Last only 34 days for the Tour of France!

Here in Spain the "Hall cyclists" are very happy because Aitor González (a spanish rider) is going well in time trials, and they think that he will beat Lance Armstrong.

I am an "asphalt cyclist" and that stuff really sick me. The cyclism has allways been a sport about the fight of the human against the nature elements (Slopes, rain, heat...) and in the very case of Lance Armstrong it´s about the fight against disease and for the survival. Why all the spanish (and most of the world) press, puts him down?

I hope that the best rider will win the next tour. I want Armstrong to be the strongest, but there´s no matter for me, because the Tour is a victory for the entire humankind.

I´ve realised hat many of the Adventure games we made are "spiced" with good humour... Which is your model?

I really love English humour, specially Monthy Python´s. They are believed to be absurds, but I don´t think so, absurd humour simply don´t make the people laugh, I´d rather preffer to call it Surrealistic.
