So, Lionmonkey, the general member' s opinion is moving to "Kill him, imprison him for the rest of his life, castrate him, etc..." to "If we do the same to him, you' ll be equal to him"? Phew...

Look, don' t be too picky about my "rape him in public" thing. I wrote something silly in a friendly atmosphere just to say that "Imprison him for life, killing him, or castrate him" was going too far... even considering that it was a horrible crime, what was told to be made to him, was going too far.

this guy shouldn' t deserve a fisical punishement

Quotebut [something...] such as being naked and raped in the central city square, with a big pink dildo...

So you don't think it's fair to physically punish him but raping him with a big pink dildo is fine?

Dude..

As far as it should be something humiliating, done while he is defenseless but not terribly painfull, with permanent effects, etc... He might even like it.

Apparently, I started this "It' s not so serious" wave... Let me explain:

I think that it was disgusting, despicable, and horrible... But re-read my post. I only say that what was mentioned before (Castration/Death penalty/perpetual, etc...), was totally over-reacting.

Hope it' s clear now! ^_^

As much as despicable this act is... what punishment are you talking about??? Death penalty? Painfull? Torture? Prison? Castrated? Perpetual prison?

Sorry, I don' t agree.

I' d like to be treated in the way I treat people, wanting for the criminal the same punishement he made to me with his crime... With that rule of three this guy shouldn' t deserve a fisical punishement, or quitting his freedom, but something terrible humiliating make without any possible way to deffense himself, such as being naked and raped in the central city square, with a big pink dildo... But nothing else. Was that what you were talking about when you said "old fashioned punishment, Voh? If so, I agree...  :) With the others, wanting more, I disagree...

I never thought somebody' s attitude could make me hate Maniac Mansion...

Hey Jeremy, I haven' t read those books, but I think I know about the facts that took you to that "dark age", and I must say that if they helped they must be really good... My condolences.

How do you put the line? For you is being nude? What about if for some others that line is going with micro-bikinis? What happens if someone is annoyed for seeing people with bermudas in the plane? Would you allow fat hairy men without t-shirts to sweat in the seat you are going to use?

As you see, this is not a case of "ingenious human stupidity". It' s more complicate... It' s about a company choosing a dress code, but, as some other mentioned (ProgZmax), it should be a well published dress code, so, people who like to wear short pieces of clothes could choose another company with a more flexible code, without having to suffer the inconvenience of being rejected in a flight for not knowing the rules.

Well Ross (Shbaz) I don' t really think that there is a sociological reason why people like american cars, basically because, for example, in my case (Which I think can be applied to many others), I don' t like the Shelby for being american, I just like the Shelby because I LIKE the Shelby.

My second favourite car is this:

A Ferrari GT250... Why I like it? Because I like the shape, the colours, the way they manofacturer finished the details...  I don' t like it for being Italian, or European, or for not being "Yankee"...

I think that liking things (or desliking things) JUST because they are "American" or "European" it' s a show of being a closed minded little fascist, very close to more obvious forms of racism or xenophobia.

One different thing is that you find several sociological reasons to like "your" cars in front of the imported ones, like the price, or that you can find pieces easilly... I agree that liking a "national" cars for those issues is a perfectly valid reason, but I think that people likes or dislikes sportive cars (which are basically, a dream, for most of us) mainly because of the external shape...

Shut up, bloody amierican imperialist... Your kars only work for cooking hamburgers on it, so you can eat and yiour yankee veins can explode. As seen in the photographov ***Vodka shot***, ourrs kars are so much nicer:

Is this the car you say it' s better than a Camaro, a Mustang or an Acura? It' s not even a proper estonian car, it' s a Lotus Locost adapted to use a Lada motor...  :P

You have too much anger... I guess it hides a huge inferiority complex, so, relax, and it will be less noticeable.

American cars are just stupid shit, waste of metal, totally unpractical

Really... Was all that necessary?

I am quite sure that they are better than Estonian cars, though...   ::)

Hypocrisy shows its ugly head.

It's not hypocrisy. You say one company wanted to do Hooter's girls as stewardesses and another company years later has 2 people removed from a plane for arbitrary dress code violations.

If it was the SAME company than sure, hypocrisy, but it isn't so it isn't.

Eric, notice what Radiant says:

QuoteSeriously though, this from the country that thought flight attendants in bikinis

He' s not aiming to a company... he is blaming a country.

Note that I am not going to pronounce if I agree of not with Radiant, but I think I should point that before two guys I' d like to see having a good debate start to mix pears with apples...  :)

If the people who wear unnapropiate clothes are so pretty as those two, no problem.
#1114
As every car seems to be allowed, of course, the MP4/6 of 1991, driven b Ayrton Senna, AKA God.

As for "street cars", the Mustang GT500 Shelby, of course.

Yup... I posted a pic of "Geli". Hope you' ll never had to post pics like those  :-\

And please... don' t be scared. That would be a goal in the terrorists' scoreboard. That suckers can' t make us change a simply habit. Go on as it never happened, it' s the best we can do.  :)

Gord, my sympathies... We all can be stuck by those un-brained... for example, I lost a friend who came here in summer in 3/11. A lovely person, very shy and responsible... She was like 22 or something...  :-\

On the funny side... have you realised that you said "important to me", "were I lived", "my old high school", "while I was there" in your post? :) Seems that you only care of yourself!  ;) Nothing to blame, though... I suposse that if there have been 300 kgs. of explosive in a place were I was been I should get clean pants...

Well, I must say that he was a great singer. Nothing about that. But his death is equally tragical to any death on the planet. There are lots of people dying you just don't know about. Starving, and other bad things. The tragedy is equal. Exactly equal.

Rest in peace, L.

Oh, yeah! I was missing the demagogic "No famous people dies as well" sentence! Thanks Oli!

As much as I love this thread, I don' t know if it being the most popular one for a week is a good symptom for the forums...  :-\

It might work, of course, think in "Prison Break".
