Happy day of the lamb! ***Me prays to the mont Arafat***

Is this the party called also Eid? Sorry my lack of knowleadge of non-western cultures.

Yeah, seems like a great loss for the world of art. I liked some of the "popular" songe he did... I can' t talk of the "pure" Brown, since I was not a big fan, but, still, he gave me memories enough for dedicating a couple of lines. R.I.P.

I repeat my question... Why do you say that differenciation between species comes with the level of destruction they can do? Why don' t we messure it by how deep can the specie swimm, or how high can the specie fly, or how many time without drink can the specie spent?

You clap your fingers and say "Ok... the more destruction, the more different the specie is respect the others" and you want us to agree... but there is no rationality or logical in that statement... Sorry, I could even agree that we are quite special (without defining that "special" as good or bad, at the moment), but the reason you say is quite random, IMO.

I am not understanding your point either... You say "Humans are unnature because they are the only ones which can do X" I say "Ok, but some animals are the only ones that can make Y, or Z!" And you say "No... that's  different!"

Why it' s different? Why do you pick "X"? Why is your "X" valid and my "Y" or "Z" isn' t?

Human are special in the sense that they have developed an intelligence level that it incredible higher than the second specie in the list... But they are just that, animals very specialised in an specific issue... We can find examples very specialised in other issues, the sonar system of the bat is quite impressive... (And don' t star with the game "well, whales have sonar too" Because then I' ll enter in the game of "Chimpanzes have intelligence too, like gorillas and Baboons, etc, etc...)

We are not special in the "metaphorical" sense you want to give... We are just very smart (in some cases) apes.

Then, as said, I must apology. Sorry mr. Buckethead. As this has been provoqued by a missunderstood, I hope that nothing of what I said is going to be taken into consideration. ;)

Yes shitar... Why do you pick a specific issue and determine it' s the one to make one specie unnatural? Komodo female dragons can have babies without the pressence of the male, why don' t you pick that abbility as the one to determine that specie is unnatural? Also, bats have wings, and they are mammals... the only case in nature, are they "unnatural"?

Ornitorrincos are also special, because they are mammals and they have beack... If we use your rule of three, of course.

Sorry to be off topic again... Prog id going to have work with this.  ;)

Ok... One thing is not liking the edits... That' s licit. You can even post about it... but in a possitive way. I still think Buckethead was negative, but if he really meant what you said he meant, I won' t hesitate to make a public apologise.

"It was BRILLIANT untill LOOMINOUS CHANGED it"

...Ergo, now it isn' t. Also, notice the ":P"

He might mean "It was brilliant till Loomi' s edit. Now it' s even better". If he meant that, then I apology.

It' s not that I am very friend of commenting the edits, all have the same value for me, no matter if the person asking for crits is going to use them or not, but this last meaning is definitelly better than the previous despective one.

The main principle told to people participating in brainstorms is "hey, never criticise something a member of the brainstorm says!" That could chop the creativity of the people involved for fear of pissing it off in front of the other members, and brilliant ideas could never be exposed.

Same for crits in CL, specially of those crits are explained with an ellaborated paint over and come with good points.

You don' t like it? Ok... maybe the person looking for crits did, or maybe even absolutelly disliking it, he could pay attention to some advises. Allow the person asking for crits to say if the crit has been possitive or not. Reply to a crit you don' t like explaining why and generating an interesting debate... Not with that sh*t.

Otherwise, shut up. Shut up to anything related to Loominous. I preffer no member to be pissed, but if one must be, be sure that I preffer you to be the pissed one than a member that I respect so much as I do like Loominous.

The normal size for a BG are 320X200

320X144 of space for the background, hence 66 pixels are for the Lucasart GUI.

So, make a black screen with that sizes and calculate how big you want the characters.

Many animation programs can work... I use animation shop, it comes along with Paint Shop Pro.
#1334
Of course not, he starts making a game with the intention to stop at the middle of the production.
#1335
What is this doing in gen gen and not in CL?

Excellent work (graphically talking, I haven' t tested the game) I can' t do anything else than encourage you. Keep the good work :)

Hey! Great surprise... Today Lore' s mom has passed this image to me via msn. She asked me:Who is this guy? I replied... A guy that looks like me.

But after a short examen... mmmmm... The guy has my wristband (not a big evidence, since the photo is for TREK, the bike suplier of Lance Armstrong...), but also has "my" ring, and "my" watch!

I thought, at the beginning, that it was not me because I never used that colour scheme of helmet. I have the same one, but in total silver. But I use photoshop, and I know that things like that can be done, so...

I googled for helemts, and here is the result:

This helmet has never existed in the schemes seen in "my" photo. The discovery channel atmos giro helmet has some black shapes. So... The helmet is a photoshop! So... Is it me or not? Curious!Ã,  :)

I might be in the international trek catalogue in the same page than Lance Armstrong! Weeeeh!
