May I say that FoY is probably the most expected game in AGS history? I´m quite new, but I think it is... I want to encourage screen7: C´mon, shawn, write fast! M0ds, script quick! Miez, paint!!!  

What the fuck makes you think that we're all paintballers? Make a game first, then rant and rave. Never assume. You'll make an ass of yourself.

That´s pretty unfair Femme... If so... we could say to you:

What makes you think we´re interested in what you wanted to be when you were a little girl? What makes you think we want to know that you bite your wrist when you´re in anger? You´re the queen of the "strange" threads (For not telling them another thing...)

If you go on with that attitude (telling to the people that must make a game before of posting) The people who has made good games could say "Make a good game, like I did, before posting. That Pizza Quest does not give you the right to post here"

Do you see how unfair it is?

P.S. I am not defending silly posts... Just that is pretencious by Shasa to determine which are silly and which not.

The "I wish I could have made a bigger effort to stablish a closer relationship with XXX" is general.

Man, five days were supossed to be enough for meeting all the guys (and even for starting bad stories), but this year seem that that hasn´t been enough. We´ve been a million milles away for having bad stories between each other of the guys, the atmosphere has been perfect.

When the smaller groups were stablished, I was waiting for the typical gossip "hey, how strange is that guy" or "I hate XXX!", but that never happened.

I feel better after reading that 5 days hasn´t been enough for you also, guys. I really want to see you in 2004.

Oh! Ok... I wanted to be a fireman.

P.S. And please, respect my stupiditai! When I want people to tell me what they wanted to be when they were children, I post: What did you want to be when you were children?

I´m sure that that "Strange" topic makes fairly clear for all the AGSers that you´re talking about the desires you had during your infance, but I´m too dumb for noticing that.

OK!!! I have the Deluxe paint program and the gradients work!

Wow... Imagine how crappy the product was. It is incredible how can a Company fall so much.

Hi people! I´m back after formatting my HD!

I am trying the Deluze paint... man... What an old flavour... I think that is what I need, but... It´s difficult to use! I don´t know how to chabge the gradient direction and the colours... but I´m just starting, just want to say Pessi that the link works.

Oh! I had a Photoshop disk at home... I am testing Kafka´s tutorial... It works quite good... But it is not still "the same" as we saw in MI1.  :'(

Mr. Colossal, you directed me to a great tutorialll but it works for PS 5.5 and I have PSP 5.1. So, my new questions are:

Where can I download PS?

Call me dumb, but... The files I get when downloading the CD version seem not to work. They´re *.dnr and *.dsk files... What shall I do?

It is very close Pessi... It isn´t still what I´m looking for, but that will work, because, as I am just trying to make the  similar style, not a copy.

I´ll try to post screenshots about what I´m looking for, and what did I get with Pessi´s procedure.

Well... I know to use gradients... But the problem is that 16 milion colours that´s not the "monkey island" digitallizations we know... I think the trick must be in choosing a 6 or 7 colour pallete for making the gradient...

BTW... Is there a way to download Deluxe paint in a "legal" way?

P.S. My PSP is 5.1.

Synthetique... I use noise for making the change of colours in gradients not so noticeable... I don´t think it´s the use I want.

I am looking for the way to make the gradients of the early 90´s games. Do you remember the skies on Monkey Island 1? I´ve been told that there is a specific tool in deluxe paint to make them, but... what about Pain Shop Pro? Is there something similar?
