You´re insane Pet... but this thread is starting to be funny!!!  ;D

The games would probably prevent the muscles evolving... But I do 20,000kms each year pedaling, that could work as an antidoth?

BTW, congratulations for your puberty.

Edit: Eeer... I am not trying to be rude, but...Do you think that telling that you are now a man and we all are inmature guys for being in the AGS community is a good way to say, "Hello, I´m back!"?
#4563
Well... I have understood that Chris is surprisingly young, 24  (younger than me) which seems difficult to imagine seeing what he has build from nothing (Teh AGS empire, ta-Chan!)

On the other hand... What is the problem whit young people? If their posts are mature and they give good oppinions and make good games, there´s no matter for me.

I suppose you were kidding seeming so worried about the age of the AGSers...

Glad to read that MonkeySpank ;D

The problem is that, if you stop breathing, you´ll be a lot of worried dealing with Sant Peter and that... ;) So you should leave everything ready and someone should post the bad news to the internet friends.
#4565
I don´t see the problem either... Do you feel so sorry for making a new forum? Well, problably nobody will join it because we´ve this forums, but that´s your problem  ;D

If Barcik gets blown up because of this war, he's gone. He'll never post here again, and we'll never know about it. That's the situation. Personally, I'd actually prefer to not know he died.

I would like to know the fate of people who I consider my friends, blame me for that  :P.

And forget the terrorist strike affair, I was just giving an example, that has nothing to see with the thread.

Jannar, Custard, I absolutely agree with you. Giving names is allways a bad idea because you allways forgot somebody  :), but I was just giving an example.

Note that I said "voted by the majority", so, in the unlikely event of the creation of this Database, the "masters" could be choosen in a fair way.

I also agree with EvenWolf. I´ve told my parents to post the bad news if they happen (I hope not  :-[)

But I also think that creating this database, starting with the point that entering that data should be enterely volunteer, won´t hurt anybody.

I am just thinking ideas, but I think that the possibility to choose which data could be seen by all the members, and which just by the "masters", is out of discussion.

Of course, If there is something embarrasing that you don´t want nobody to know, just, don´t post it. But sometimes, that secret database could be a nice way to share the things that matter to you with people that you rely on.

And I am implementing this stuff in our project, Barcik...

mmm... I should "curve" the shapes on the side, it could give more "terminal speed" sensation, what do you think?

iAnd if an ags friend dies, who would tell you guys? Who would log on here and tell everybody that their son/daughter/brother/sister is in a coma or dead?

That´s the point. If a member of the database don´t show signals of live, some others could make a phone call or something to know what is going wrong. It´s quite simple, just a matter of setting rules.

for Example:

;D

//things to do by the Database masters.

if (Char Farlander) does not show signs of live in (3 months), call home ;

}

And, about other important facts in the life of the members, it will be their decission  to communicate what they want, I don´t see the problem, because all would be volunteer there.

"Important"... I meant, people choosen by a majority because their importance in the community. As an example, Neole, M0ds, Andail, Helm...

They could "guard" the database, if everybody agrees and they want.

Last night I was watching tv and looking the news about the terrorist strikes in Israel.

I don´t want to start a topic about the conflict in Middle East, but I thought... hey... If my friend Barcik is involved in one of these strikes... How could I know that?

Then I realised that we´re more or less 1000 members and there are possibilities for some of us (I hope not) of being involved in an accident,  even... dying...

How could our friends of AGS know that? Is there a database or something to post important news on our lifes? Marriages, divorces... there are a lot things that matter.

I propose to create a secret database were the "important" people of the ags could follow the movements of the people who voluntarily enter in that database.

So, if something bad happens, we could know the fate of our mates when they give no signals of life.

What d you think? maybe this is the most stupid proposal in AGS history, but I´m posting this at a very late hour (for me 00:03, wow!)

Well, C.Leksutin told what i first thought... No I can say I agree with him.

But, as Paul McCarthney said: You can work it out. You must try to fix the things because there is no way to say what could had happened if you let her down.

today, watching TV series I´ve heard a sentence that may fit to you:

"If she is not the girl, no matter what you do, it won´t work. If she is, fight..."

Well... I follow the philosophy of Lucasarts...

First of all I think in a history... I write it like if it was a novel... then I turn into a walkthrough, makinf all the puzzles easy and logical, and then... I fill the game with lots of things to do if you´re stucked, like Lucas did, conversations, jokes, useless puzzles...

And of course, the main character can´t die.

Yeah, nice image! The problem I see is that painting pixel by pixel could awfully increase the time of the production of the game... My question is if there is a way not to doing it pixel by pixel... If there is a way to create textures, like the  skies in monkey island 1? Is there a tool?

Edit: Well, As N3T graph said, the horizont looks a little weird, I think I know why... the gradient must be darker till longer, just the opposite as it is, I think.
