After dinner, I have time to post again... sorry for the first rushed post.

Having Azadeh here has been extremelly easy. She is very polite and funny... As an example of what kind of girl she is, when Lore and me were helping her to make the packing (We had to sit in the suitcase, as usual) I told her "Hey, you are forgetting to pick that 2-euro coin" and she replied that the coin was originally there... She hasn' t been able to pick the money for an ice cream!  I would have done it, I must confess.

Having Petter here has been nice too, it' s been very inspiring that him, after scouting how my countrymates manage with English, recongised that my English is good compared with the average level . ^_^

As I mentioned to her, it' s been good for Azadeh's Spanish that her first visit to Benidorm has been here, since it's almost a piece of England in Spanish territory, a good opprotunity to learn lots of words, since almost everything is in billingual. Next year, when you aim for a more "pure" spanic town for learning the grammar, I will try to help again.

Hahaha! I love it... But I don' t think that' s sluggy at all, no? He (She/it...) is basically "walking". If you want it that way, then I think it' s perfect... except probably in the last frame, where its "left leg" is more advanced... the "third blob" (or leg, or whatever you call it) seems to be too big.

Exactly... It' s exactly what you say.  A lot of fuss about nothing. The Stickam room is something quite boring (nothing), and seeing it here, at the top of gen gen (too many fuss) everyday is even more boring. Too fuss for nothing.

A One-line post thread kept by just two or three members... You can go on with this, guys (The members going to stickam are allways the same... You could arrange the meetings via PMs) apparently it' s "legal", and nobody else complains... but it' s extremelly unfair for the rest. Shame on you.

As said, I am based on something to say they are not able to arrive here. Your idea is based in... nothing.

Peoples arguments of "The human body couldn't make that kind of trip" and "There is no technology enabling us to travel that far" is rather illogical. If aliens exist, why would they be the same as us? The mere fact they are alien implies a different physiology and that they have acclimated to a very different sort of living, so their technology would be vastly different, possibly superior, possibly lesser, but the point is you can't argue with someones belief when your whole argument is "Well we can't do it, so no one can."

Saying "We can't do it... It's unlikely they can do it" is logical. It is a statement based on the observation of the only tecnological society we can examine (our). Saying "they might can" is illogical... It' s based on nothing. Extraordinary statemets need extraordinary evidences, and the evidences of they visiting us are extremelly weak. If you say there is a dragon under your bed, prove it.

But it' s not just that "we can' t do it..."

The thing is in 3600 million years of life in earth, only a race (us) managed to have a tecnology greater than just using a stick or a stone.

Maybe a tecnological society is not so common as we think.

Anyway, what is illogical is to think that those guys are smart enough for travelling for million years and then, here, they are stupid enough to forget of switching the lights of the saucer off...

Sorry... I am going to try to express this in the most polite way I can.

I consider quite unfair, illogic, that this thread comes every certain time to the "top" of gen gen.

I am not pretending to be a moderator, but I am also a user of this forums, and I' d like to express my opinion, scouting for any other members that are so annoyed by this like me.

If nobody else is, I' ll shut up and will go back, ashamed, to hide into my hole, but if anybody else (or most of us, who knows...) thinks like me I would suggest to move this thread to somewhere else (popular threads) or invite the users of Stickam to arrange the meetings in some other way.

To be honest, Evenwolf... I am not sure if this discussion needs to go any further, too many people agrees in one side. It' s just not funny! ^_^
