Conspiranoic is the English version of a word that we use often in spanish skeptical communities... Not common in the rest of the world?  ???

It' s curious that people who launches conspiranoid theories allways claim something like "I don't really think that there was something odd involved there, actually, but think of it!".

You throw the stone, and hide the hand.

Attitudes like those are the ones that make the idiots believe that there was not a plane in the Pentagon on 9/11 because "You know? There are no photos of a plane crashing into the building!  :o I am not saying that the US government launched a missile, but... think of it!  :o" Yeah, I thought of it, and, wanna know what I think? There are millions of evidences that a commercial aircraft crashed there, and, shit; If flight 77 did not end in the Pentagon... where the hell it ended? Do you claim that the US government kidnapped a plane, and in spite of crashing it into the Pentagon to blame the terrorist, took the plane to Area 51 and launched a missile painted with the AA colours into the Pentagon?

Sorry, but I think that it is more likely that the event was not recorded than believing that shit.

And I preffer to believe that Heath pissed it if with the dose, or that he suicided, that Warner Bros killed him.

Conspiranoids are not only naive enough to believe that crap, but also coward... A real shame.  :P Please, think twice before spreading that kind of things.

There are examples of this every single day and I've probably mentioned it before elsewhere on these boards.   Now I don't really think Heath Ledger killed himself to promote the movie... but what's to say it wasn't a murder planned by the distributors of the Dark Knight... The movie and music industries (especially in America) go to some great lengths for the sake of a publicity.

[Disclaimer - I'm not making any allegations, just speculating].

Are you serious about that? Do you really "speculate" that this "american film distributors" hired someone to kill a 29 years old guy with a 2 years old daughter just to promote a movie?

If you are rally serious, you must be really sick, man.  :P

He has told me via msn he misses us, so, I guess he will come...

If he does not come, I will take my car, go to Athens, and kidnapp him.

P.S. Sorry for not visiting msn lately, will try to get more free time ASAP.

As always I popped out for a cigarette and looked up, to see a star "circling", just kept going round in circles.

What did the cigarette have in?

First of all, thanks everyone for the inputs. I read them very carefully and all of them will work.

Mr. C , Space boy and Crazy mentioned something I noticed, but I innocently auto-convinced me of the opposite... I must give up, and recognise that, whereas the jump and landing momentum seems to be good, then it turns a bit slow...

I will mess with the frames,  removing some (A quick attempt did not really work) or changing the frames. Thanks to Idlu' s silly youtube video I see that what the guys really does is some kind of "lateral" roll in spite of the frontal one I did... I will work on this, because what I had in mind was a "controlate" fall. I call allways use my "frontal roll" with a "on his feet" landing to do another animation, no?  ;)

In Idlu' s and Prog' s works I "feel" that the guy is dead or terribly hurt after the fall. Sorry for not mentioning that, but I would like the guy to say something like "ugh!" after the fall, showing he is still alive, but slightly harmed. Anyway, I will use those works as a reference for further animations (Idlu' s descontrolate fall mixed with terrible Prog' s landing will look awesome when "falling to death", I agree with Markbilly). Thanks to both. Anyway, I still agree with InC, and think that, for what I had in mind, my work with some changes works better.

Oh! Crazy... I am using animation shop coming with the Paint Shop Pro program, not anything "special" like a vectors or a rotoscope program... Sorry to dissapoint you ;) I called the animation motion studio because I' d like to make more studios of this kind, and share them with the community, nothing else... A Flashback style game might be done, if I learn to do BGs and I find a coder, though ^_^.

Hello! I think this is quite good, but I want some crits before I go on... Any major flaws? I am not looking for a paintover/change of style, move a pixel here and there, but crits about the general motion.

Anyone have ripped graphics from Conrad in Flashback? I did not ripp, or even used his jumping animations as a reference (only the standing up looking to the right for size references) but it might save a lot of work to me to take a look of one of his sprite sheets.

Thanks.

Oh! And the image hasn' t been rotoscoped either ^_^ I am happy to say it's 100% from scratch!

Hehe... Mark, why not using FOY' s website splendid "Merry Xmas flash"?

Thanks to Mark for the music, Miez for the supperb BGs and a bit for me, for the sprites...  :)

I suggest you to animate it, otherwise is very unlikely that you are going to get good crits...
#957
Not sure... I didn' t had in mind that early titles, so, I think that the timeline actually was "Cartoony-Realistic-Cartoony", no? As said... it deppens more of "what is needed to tell a story" better than in the resolution.
#958
Yeah, you say that because you allways (unfairly) win..  :P

Just kidding!  :)  ;)

And now, got back to a serious note. Great sprites, Akatosh, specially considering that you thought you were not good at low res. Looked like the Metal Slug sprites, and I am quite sure you have used them as a reference as for designing and lighting, but you did not ripp... Congrats!
#959
I agree... Cartoony or not is not a decission to be taking considering the resolution you have... For example, Full Thottle was between 2 "extremelly" cartoony games (as for "warping" style) like DoTT and CMI and it was quite less cartoony than the mentioned above... (Still a bit, but not so exagerated). It' s about if the story you want to tell needs cartoony or not.

Hehehe... I allways considered that making fun of one of the worst things that is around you is a very healthy symptom. ^_^ Happy Eid, Babar.
