That is a good question. Let me just say I absolutely loved magnolia. Who fucking wouldn't? Let's be honest, a selection of characters who have theirs lives intertwined in such a symbolic way, whilst holding their own individual and interesting yet fucked up interesting stories in a mighty chasm, whilst still managing to keep the viewer interested... That takes a certain amount of writers talent. But come on, the guy is a douche bag. He tries to act like he is some kinda enigma. Want to know who was an actual enigma? David Lynch. That guy knows his shit. I hate all the bullshit that modern Hollywood insists on melting our eyes with but, David Lynch, he's a respected motherfucker. Everyone knows that son-of-a-bitch-for one reason or another. Paul Thomas Anderson will be remembered - that is sure. But to the extent of Lynch? I don't think so... I am being picky though, we need more like him.
It's a case of cult meets cult. And Lynch is the bad backstreet boy shoe cobblin'tailor. You just do not mess. To channel your inner Kubrick, you just have to be real. Any bullshit is unacceptable.

Alright, I think I should post second shot... besides this movie has many good ones.

I think posting a second shot defeats the points of guessing the movie from a certain screen shot. Many well known films were very difficult to guess, while almost unknown films were very easy to guess. I thought the hint that I have given was more than enough:

Aqala, very interesting theory! If Peter MolyFaux actually pulls through with one of his promises, then you may well be right. I think it's safe to say his originality died with Black and White, i'm guessing he watched The Box and stole the idea. I find him quite irritating

Peter Molyneux does what every other game developer in the world do, including the guys who post on the Completed Game Announcements board: they promote their game. Every game developer promises a pie in the sky yet game journalists only take Molyneux at his word and only rage against him when he ultimately fails to delver.

I paid full price for Black&White, played it once and then gave it to a friend of mine, so I have no reason to stick up for Molyneux, but I recognise that I am being manipulated by the media and not Molynuex. I suspect that he is aware of this, yet is unable or unwilling to stop the dependency cycle (despite multiple tries).

Peter Molyneux is making a new game for iOS and Andriod devices, the game shows a cube that the player can hit (by tapping the screen) with a chisel. There is a single cube for all players who play this game. The players can buy different chisels that would do different amount of damage. The cube has a pre-set amount of points, the player who hits the last point will be shown a secret that is (in Peter Molyneux own words) "is so valuable, and so life-changingly important," the game is called: Curiosity: What's Inside the Cube.

Now I am going to save you time and money by telling you what is inside the cube: a choice. How do I know? Easy, there is limited things that one can put inside a cube on a phone's screen: picture, video, text or as I suspect a hyperlink. No picture, video nor text will be "life-changingly" important to a random person, but a choice would, represented in the hyperlink.

The last player will make a choice and his own choice will affect him more than anything that Peter Molyneux can dream up or show on the screen of a mobile device.

What is the choice? Whether it is a choice, I am 100% sure, but I can only guess on the nature of this choice. My guess is that the last player will be presented with two options: take the money that has been paid by other players to buy chisels or return this money to them.

Uh. Hi againg guys. I am seriously in dillema. I was going to continue my development on Crimson bath, then a game idea based on the Slender Man character pops up in my head, now i can't work on any of the two because my brain just... Blocked. There was an AGS torrent server a few years ago, which used the ags.org dedicated server as a backbone (which increased the speeds dramatically).  It didn't get used enough to justify the effort involved in running it.

I assume you mean a tracking server that hosts the files too? What exactly did it do, host torrents, track, host files?

Torrents are only effective if there is a lot of seeders, downloading the latest episode of CSI is done in minutes while downloading some obscure film from some years ago can take many days. Still for a big & popular games, e.g. Ben Jordan adventure, having a torrent option is very useful, because a lot of people would start downloading when the game is released.

There would be little effort involved in running it, it would function just like your bittorrent client only on the server. All you have to do is set up a way for people to upload their games & torrent files, an FTP server for example. Set up rTorrent and run it. Done.

My intention was to suggest a central host for AGS games can be set up on the cheap, I didn't know that there was already something like that.
