Not impressed, like mentioned above clearing an adventure after you know the solutions...

Not impressed? He spent 24 hours playing adventure games in one sitting... And that is not impressive? :P

This guy's my hero.

Oh god Krysis, that is so awesome! :D

Well, I tried something too:

You have to put
Code: ags

int doorisopen;

in the very beginning of room script. (It has to be outside the door opening function)

Did you not read the BFAQ entry Ashen linked?

Now that I think about it, this application could be very useful for story design too! Especially dialog writing. You'd just make a gategory (a dialog topic) and few sub-gategories (dialog options) and then write the dialog in. Very very useful! I love it. :D

Well, what can I say. You make really good looking sites! Oh, and I joined just for the sake of it.

Nice job! :)

People really should copy the rules of this competition in their post when they start a new compo. Sorry PyroMonkey but I don't think your entry will qualify.

Here are the original rules:
  • Participants will draw a comicstrip following the given theme and rules.
  • You are allowed to use any technique in your drawing. But if you use computer you are not allowed to copy and paste ready pictures.
  • Each competition will last 15 days.
  • The starter of each competition will decide the winner.
  • The winner will decide the theme for the next competition.

    You have to draw your comic for this competition by yourself.

Wow! Excellent background! The second version of the shading is much better, very atmospheric, but the light on the bookshelf is wrong somehow... it's just hard to say how you could improve it... :-\

I think we need some loominous here :)

There already has been a topic for this: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19096.0

And Permanent Daylight still is the funniest one I've played :=

How does this differ from, say, a txt file you open and type in?

I think the idea is that the codes are easier to keep arranged with this than in a normal txt file. And it's faster to find the code you are looking for.

The idea of this program is nice. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Yeah, Andail you bloody n00b! Why do you always have to be starting up these flame wars? Nobody likes you, go away!

(:= I'm gonna put this smiley here, just in case someone is really so silly they think I was serious here)

On topic:

I really like your drawings. I'm very impressed about the amount of detail in those. And yes, Alice is sooo hot!

If I could draw that good pictures, I wouldn't mind about the poses that much. I'd be just happy if I could draw that good. :)

Wow, I had already forgotten about this project!

But I'm glad you are still making it. The game seems very fun. :)
#993
Yay, you actually released it! :D

Congratulations on that Ahmet, gonna play it next night! God this game is so awesome! ;D
#994
I played this a bit. And so far it's awesome work! The animations are great, and all the graphics are just the way I like them. Simple (in a good way), yet still very awesome! All in all it's very King's Quest -ish because of all the sudden deaths and many locations. Me likey very much! I hope you will make more games in the future!
#995
Ben Jordan... all of them... but especially 3.
#996
I don't think there should be so many competitions with both male and female characters. It would probably be best if the dialog would fit for either male or female...
#997
I tried this game, it looks very good. I like the animations and the style of the backgrounds rocks! I'll play it more when the translation is ready.

Btw, you could mention in the AGS Games database entry that this game is only in Spanish.

General Discussion / Re: Help name my kitten!

You mentioned you like Secret Of Monkey Island. Then I got this thought that Somi would be quite a cute name for a cat. :D But probably not what you're after.
#999
Yes, use the same code I gave you but add the parameter 2 thing after the parameter 1 code. Remember to put it in the same dialog_request function.
Code: ags

Ã,  if (parameter==2) {
Ã,  Ã,  speak_leonsecondproof=1;
Ã,  }

and then use this in the dialog:
Code: ags
run-script 2

QuoteBut, if it's your native language, or you've learned how to speak it, you can't play! (Sorry!)
Bad...

QuoteIn addition, you cannot use translators to figure out the translation. And, you cannot seek the assistance of a friend who knows the language either!
Not very possible to know if participants do this.

The only thing I actually like in this is that the comic you posted is Finnish... or well, I don't think I like that either...

It would be much better if the contestants didn't have to translate the comic, but add text to empty speech bubbles. And that would be quite much like Caption Contest... and there's no reason to start a compo so similiar to that IMO...
