Hehe it does seem a little big!

Overall, I love it! It has a ton of detail.
One gripe though: instead of scribling fake
text on the menu, you should put readable
text on it and make up some funny names...

Wow, good job man! I really like this new style of yours. I'm really interested to see how an entire scene would look.. so post one once you get a chance ;)

Jeez... talk about multitalented! It sounds really great, Synthetique.

However, I had one problem with it: the music stopped suddenly at 43 seconds, and it was just silence after that. It looks like it should run for 49 seconds, but I'm not sure if it was just a problem on my computer..  ???

LOL that video rocks and those offbeat comic strips are hilarious!

Great improvements guys! Only thing left is to make the animation slower.

The light comes from the windows :P The windows just cannot be seen in the PPfront picture, since they are so high... but I might change that ;D

no, no, I'm talking about Map.GIF:

I think the area map came out the best; the perspective and the overall feel of it is really good. Here are some crits: the trail looks very off... instead of making the trail a lighter shade of whatever color is underneath it, I think you should make it a dirt or cement trail. I think a dirt trail would look the best but it might not make too much sense if your game takes place in a city. Also the light on the ground in front of the power plant doesn't make sense. I think it would look better if you just drew the light coming from the windows on the ground and maybe added a couple of more windows.

There are small windows but somehow they are lighting the entire front yard of the power plant!  :P

Lookin' good. It's a little empty right now but I know that you're already planning to add more objects. You could try adding a poster or picture on the wall.

This game looks awesome man! I'm going to download the demo tonight after work.

I'm actually pissed that I saw all the characters you've created so far in the Critics' Lounge... I would of much rather have been suprised seeing them in-game, but I guess my curiosity got the best of me.

Anyways, can't wait to play the game. And, I hope this turns into a series of games.. hell, you've got a ton of characters ready to use!

That second version is 122 times better, Raven. The colors are much more appealing and I like the shading! The original was way too bland.
The torn wallpaper is kinda strange. Unless it's part of the story, I don't see how the wallpaper could've gotten torn in that one spot way up there compared to a lower spot.

I'm glad if I could be of any help.

Man, viruses seriously piss me off. I can't understand why people create them. All they ever do is make our lives harder and sometimes even destroy our hard work (art, programs, etc). It's really sad that there are people who get a kick out of screwing people over.

Lookin' good, Hobbes.

:o.. That second BG is awesome dude! The color selection is just right, the light source works really well, and the wallpaper rocks!
#114
Cool game, Hobbes! It was a little short and pretty straight-forward, but I know this was due to wanting to release the game which is OK by me... now, hurry up and make an expanded game :P

Heh looks and sounds very promising and funny! The hero is great!

I like how there are two toilets right next to each other  ;D

No, no, I think that the sprite Evil made will work fine with a little tweaking: make it so that the dress doesn't slant at the bottom. I think that will make it more classy. By the way, The psychiatrist in HBO's The Sopranos wears short skirts like that.

PS: how's PoC coming along, Archangel?

EDIT: Wow! That looks awesome Ali! I think that's the look you should use, Arch. Hmmm... she definitely looks sexy :).. Perhaps she would look more sinister with dark hair (but then she might not look as sexy  :-\) ?

There's a virus going around that causes your computer to reboot.  If you're having this problem, follow the instructions immediately below.  If you're not having problems, you should go over Steps 1, and 2 of the lower section to make sure you don't get infected. You may also want to forward this to any clients that have the worm.

W32.Blaster.Worm Removal Tool:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html

In the page above, it says to Turn Off System Restore if you're running Windows XP, 2000 or ME, here's instruction on how:
Windows XP, 2000: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;310405
Windows ME: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;264887

IF you need to start in SAFE MODE, turn off your computer and wait 10 seconds then turn it back on.  Right after you turn on the computer, start tapping the F8 key about once or twice a second while the computer is booting.  Before Windows starts, you will get a menu with an option to start in Safe Mode.  Use your arrow keys to highlight this option and press enter.

After the Removal Tool finishes running, it will ask you if you want to apply a patch to fix the vulnerability that allowed all this to happen in the first place.  If you select Yes, the web page it takes you to is not very clear.  You may select No and follow the steps below.  If you complete Step 1 below, you will no longer be vulnerable to w32.Blaster.

Once you've successfully removed the virus, you need to do a few things to make sure you don't get it again.  The first 2 steps don't take long and are completely free.  You should complete them IMMEDIATELY.  If you don't already have a virus scanner, you should get one very soon, but simply completing Step 1 will keep you safe from w32.Blaster.

1. Run Windows Update by opening Internet Explorer, then select Windows Update from the Tools menu.

2. Click on the PRODUCT UPDATES link then install anything that says "Critical Update"
After you install the updates, restart your computer and run Windows Update again and check for any more critical updates.  Some updates have to be installed by themselves, so you need to come back to Windows Update to check for more.I've tried to be as complete as possible, but there are probably some things I've left out.  Feel free to email me with any questions.

Looks really good minimi. It's definitely a huge improvement over the other 3D stuff you've done, great job!
I think you should get rid of that brown polygonal trail on the ground. I think it would be better if there was a brown dirt patch all around that merchant area.. I hope you get the gist of what I mean.

That was awesome, Duzz! The intro was hilarious and had some great animations. One question: does the Gargh-meter do anything as of the demo (I don't think so but I just want to make sure)? and if not, what will it eventually do?
