Absolutely gorgeous, Bernhard!

I agree with Andail's crit about the moon and think that his edit would be nicer.

No prob, guys! I was so excited when I saw the deal and knew that I had to post it here.

Maybe a mod should move this post to the Gen Discussion forum so that more people can see it. ;)

Hey guys, I found this sweet deal on a video game deal site I go to. Only $4.99 each (shipping already included) for EfMI and CoMI from EBGames.com. Here are the links:

Escape from Monkey Island: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/222292.asp?siteID=JIvboaLOuAI-Ce2XRAASCcv2x2nIjSEqgg
Curse of Monkey Island: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/222310.asp?siteID=JIvboaLOuAI-7fQa3l9mHnNr5t27xHrWeQ

Those links will generate revenue for that site I visit, so it's totally cool if you want to remove that siteID thing from the url. On the other hand, you could support them; after all, they did find this great deal. ;)

Very nice tutorial, Corby. Thanks!

One complaint: could you show us what colors you used to make the door, please?  It's a great color selection in my opinion. ;D

Edit: I love this tutorial, bud! Great job!

Megatron: that fireman idea is brilliant and I love his little spray bottle! I could totally imagine him as a character in a game: melodramatic, always coming to the "rescue"... lol, put him in a game please!

Excellent game, Duzz!

I had been looking forward to this game the day you posted it in the Games in Production forum, and it's even better than what I expected.

I loved the cartoon graphics and colors, characters and backgrounds, animations, interactions, interface, and the dialog. Pretty much everything. ;)

Holy crap, that was f***ing great! I really can't wait for the game now fellas  :o

Very enjoyable game! It's an excellent kids' game with the exception of:
1) Roger Wilco cameo - not too many kids would get this reference
2) Puppy Love - maybe too strong for some parents?

Overall, I personally enjoyed those 2 things but if you want to strictly aim at a childrens' market, I think it would be better without those.

The name Afro Jones doesn't seem to suit a white guy to me... :P
I agree. I would prefer a black hero as well because, in my opinion, the name really doesn't fit the character you're using right now.  :P

Cool, this game is shaping up real nicely! I can't wait to try it out.

Excellent stuff! I love your style.

I walk with my fists clenched with palms facing back..  so I'm obviously a very aggressive gay man.  Or an ape.. unsure which.
LOL.  ;D

N3T: I think the walk cycle is looking very good. I think the sprite's colors are a little bright though.

Nope, I'm not on a lan. Just a normal dial up. I've got Windows 200, btw.
And my computer is a PIII 450, 196MB RAM.

I'm doing and online virus scan now, just to see if Norton aint doing its job.

Interesting, can you provide a link to this online virus scanner, Auhsor? Sorry no help here on the issue you're having. :-X.

Jason proclaims "no playing stairway to heaven allowed"... Ahem, where's my lifetime's worth of respect and admiration?

piraatlife4me: the game looks very promising. I love the amount of detail you put into your art.

...still waiting, Alky.

Excellent game, Squinky!
+ The humor was plentiful
+ Logical puzzles
+ The graphics were beautiful
+ Great music selection
+ Awesome ending!

The only minor complaint I have is that those messages like "The knife cannot be used on the stove" (I can't remember the exact wording nor can I look it up because I'm at work) were more irritating than helpful.

Nonetheless, great game and can't wait for the sequel... err, prequel! ;)
