Are you going by any chance to play it with your son? There is one line of dialogue that contains a swear word. I mean, I doubt you are going to play it together due to the game's subject and text-based nature but seeing the Kid-friendly thread I thought I would let you know. (I've also updated the content info on the AGS game db).

This game is definitely on the roster for this weekend. Found a recipe for Orwellian Victory Gin to go along with it (minus the juniper berries, in my case):

Victory Gin Martini
• Some Dry Juniper Berries
• 2 oz. -or- 60 ml. Vodka
• .5 oz. -or- 15 ml. Kaoliang Baijiu
• 2 Dashes Orange BItters
• Muddle and shake
• Serve in Martini Glass
• Garnish with olives

I would never know when NOT to pick something up. This rusty old door handle? Might come in handy. A mouldy piece of cheese I found behind the refrigerator? Better take it with me.

Number Rescue - Definitely the highlight of the batch we played! CaptainD, mate you've got all these layers to you that none of us know about. I had no idea this game even existed! You should do a followup series with these characters. It's a really good concept!

Thank you!  That really means a lot to me.  Yeah it was sort of supposed to be the start of a series but as with so many ideas I just ran out of time... maybe one day...

Yeah, the ending left us thinking there was more to come. You should maybe think about building the next instalment with your kids as a bit of a lesson in coding for them. I'm trying to do similar things with my son at scratch.mit.edu (he's a bit young to understand AGS just yet).

I am so glad to hear that you, and your young son, enjoyed
playing THE DECORCIST.

If you don't mind me asking, did you actually complete the game
and reap the award of a most prestigious gold or silver trophy? 

No, actually. My son is pretty young, so the fun was really going up and down the ladders and ducking into the little cubby holes when we finally figured out we could do that. We died every time, but the goal for us kind of became trying to stay alive as long as possible.

Is that your game?

Ah yeah I think you’re right. I was going to guess a movie franchise as well, but I couldn’t think specifically of that one (I thought maybe judge Dredd or...maybe even Predator).
