I only posted it twice before realizing I got a private message from CJ telling me not to ruin the joke. I only posted it twice because I thought it was some glitch not entering my post, only to find out one of the mods was deleting them after that private message. Then I posted again just stating I love this topic and it got deleted for no reason.

Oh and I'm glad this stays on PC. Consoles are horrible trying to play point and click Adventure games. I know this by playing Myst on Sega Saturn and Maniac Mansion on NES. I also don't like the PS3 or Wii. I only like the Xbox 360, but even I wouldn't want it on Xbox 360 because like I said before this genre does not work well on consoles. If its one thing I perfer playing video games on PC is point and click Adventure games and Strategy games like Age of Empires.

I don't give a %^*@$ what the mods think of me. And I don't know what the forums were like back in the EZBoards era, but Raggit and I were chatting a while ago, and he said that everything was a lot more laid back.

For example, when I went through that period of parodying users/usernames, I didn't mean any harm by it, I thought it would be a little bit of fun. Quite a few people got upset by it (*cough* Vince *agghhh* Twelve *gaggg*), and someone even PMed me over it (negatively). 

Take another example: VintageDemon/AzureWolf. Most users hated him (I didn't particularly like him, either), but he was just trying to fit in around here like a regular member. Sure, he used to post about 20 times a day, but who cares? (I'm sorry, AzureWolf, for posting that nasty thread about you, but I was in a moment of stupidity when I posted that, and I apologize)

And once again, back to me. About 1-2 years ago I said I didn't like gay people, and the whole forum got in an uproar. That thread I posted about a game turned into a lengthy discussion about homophobia, sexuality, and similar topics. Most of you probably still hate me. When I posted that comment about gays on a site's guestbook, I wasn't really thinking about the implications it would have. It's not gays I hate, it's their lifestyle I hate. I think gays are sometimes viewed as outsiders to the human race. Despite my hatred of their sexuality, I still think they should be treated as others are treated- equally. However- this is where the real controversy lies- I do NOT think that they should receive special funding in America from companies like Ford, Wal-Mart, etc. That is definitely NOT equality. It would be the same as sponsoring people who aren't gay. 

Sorry for getting this off-topic. I'm finally getting an opportunity to vent how I feel and I've seized the chance.

I may as well say now, that I'm sick of people referring to me as Yodaman. I could, I'd change that name from appearing in my profile when users click on it (like VintageDemon did. How did you, by the way, if you're reading this). As Vader said: "That name no longer has any meaning for me."

what do you know of the mods really? I've not been around for much longer than you (maybe even less, dunno really), but I think that the mods are doing a hell of a job keeping the place clean and working for people with dial up. some rules simply make sense: don't quote the persona above you, don't use bmps etc...

This is the AGS community not the program, and nobody gives a shite if you (not you per se, but you as anybody) has worked on a game or not. The mods around here have prioven their faither,hard work and sensible thinking for many years.

Nobody hates anybody here. And you opened a thread/discussion about the vintage demon (now known as azure wolf). I have him on MSN (though he's usually off line nowadays). He was pretty annoying but stoped posting. That was good. dont' you agree?

I actually don't even remember any thread by you, and it's a pity that the forums do not support "threads started by..." function. I'd love to see and remind myself. Your first game, which I did check was rather bad, sorry to say.

See, that's the problem. You, like many others, (in the past, at least) have probably just ignored any threads I started. I don't mind Renal Shutdown much. I was reading the old 8 Page 'Boner' thread (the Bone: Out From Boneville thread  that got way off topic), and Renal had the same attitude now as (h/sh)e did back then. I actually had a pretty good game
in progress at one point (which I quit making because of a hard drive erm.. malfunction). I recently found some of the old character art that lo_res_man had did laying around my hard drive (I didn't post any of that in the GiP thread before the hard drive crash). I'll probably update the thread when I get around to it.

Oh, sorry. If I had known I would have parodied it. I'll parody you as soon as possible, which is probably once I'm done posting this... From now on, I think I'll only parody by request (via PM), so as not to get anyone upset. That was pretty immature of Vince to change the pic, and I too was grossed out by it. You kind of contradicted yourself there. First: 'Nobody hates anybody else here'. Then: 'It was good that TheVintageDemon stopped posting.' I know that you aren't specifically saying you hate TVD, but you're implying that you do. I'm neither happy or sad that he stopped posting. His posting habits were a quirky addition to the forum.

I, for one, am appalled. I was genuinely hoping to play my AGS games on my PS3. This JOKE of a joke was an outrage to me, CJ!!

Yodaman (and why not yodaman, just yesterday I was surprised to see myself referenced as Redrum - Gilbot sure has a long memory!), chill out, and for heaven's sake cut it out.

So you've had teething problems in the community. Big freakin' deal. Many people do.

If you're STILL having problems, then it IS a problem, and it's *your* problem.

If people persist in bringing your past into the present, then it's either because they're joking or because they feel you didn't change at all.

Your last post sounds a perfect example of why you would be on that mythical "list". If you don't want to be treated the way you feel you're being treated, well, *don't keep on giving people the reasons to do it*.

Back ontopic, this april fool didn't fool me, but I was surprised at the inventiveness - nothing could top "AGS goes shareware!", but this was still very fun. Just wish I could have thought of something better to say.

Ah, I remember when I was an angry n00b. I made like 80 posts a day, had 4 absolutely dumb games in production, begged for help with games, then begged to get on teams. I was grilled by everyone, until I learned to post maturely 4 years ago.
