You could try the MGS boards on IGN, theres a few good people there who will give you any crit / help you need :p

Hehe. Well, I am just glad there is some interest in the project. Any help is appreciated since I can't do a project like this on my own, if I keep everything at this standard since it will take forever and even then... It wouldn't be any good and very weird.

I haven't tried the IGN boards but maybe they can help, I just hope they are better than the GameFAQs members. :/

NOTE: FREE website hosting is needed. I've been hosted at leafo.net, but it's been down for awhile and I need a host that is reliable. It would be awesome if the name was gaming related. The site is pretty small, so there shouldn't be any problems with bandwidth and webspace.

That's the thing, I don't like "professional" hosts since they have very un-related names, I'd prefer to be hosted by someone I know and can contact easily.

The Meryl sprite isn't very good because I'm not good at drawing females... But I am having another go with a sprite of Mei Ling.

basicly i tried to make her look more natural and feminine(sp?)

And with modded style i just took out the black outlines... hehe i never liked black outlinesÃ,

I gave it a go ...

Problem for me is the black outlines ... it's hard to use shading for detail (for me) when there's a black outline.



I'm pleased with most results, except for the legs ... they look chunky.  And maybe the shoulders ...

Both awesome edits. Thanks, OSC... I know how hard it is, since you can't add much to it. That's the good thing about having good faces in such a small space.

Great edit Darth, alot better.. The face is better, I need to refine the Meryl head a little to be more like it. The shoulders look fine to me and it works nicely with the style I'm using.

Ultimo: Hmmm, well Leafo's host is alright... It just had a little downtime, it does from time to time. The host is alot more secure than yours, as far as bandwidth goes, I wouldn't want to steal your bandwidth. Oh well, get back on IRC soon cos' I mainly went on there in the first place to check if you went on it. ;(

P.S This project does not match the greatness of BB1: Key Quest sadly.

Doesn't really matter since you will mainly only see her on codec, which means you will only see her face and a bit of her body...

Hey, these sprites are awesome!  I like Daz's edits the most.  But you did a pretty good job on them yourself.
