I have thought of organising a local meeting though. I'll see if there is an interest among nordic ags:ers to meet up in gothenburg again.

I'd like to get my lazy ass off to one of these meetings! I've wanted to do so since the first Mittens was held so I'd definitely be interested in this sort of arrangement that you speak of Andail, being swede and all...

I definitely can not afford a trip to Australia, nor can I take that much time off from work.

But I'd love to attend a shorter Amerittens.  Maybe if folks wanted to come down here to Washington, DC we could work something out...

yea! DC/Maryland. where i live. i also through my hat into the ring last year as to where to host an american mittens. ny was decided, and it as good. it might also be in florida (gloves). but i think it would be best for us eastern seaboard us'ers to foot the bill to go to britian.

How about having simulataneous Brittens, Antipomittens and Amerittens somewhere with a boradband connection and then having a video link between them?

The idea of an Amerittens sounds good for me at least this year, though any kind of "ittens" that is not Mittens sounds kind of watered down to me, however affordable.

I'm heading off to England this summer to check out some Universities and take in the scenery. I can do that any time really so I could probably schedule it alongside Brittens and perhaps a show or so of the looming Jamiroquai tour.

I wish Brittens lasted longer than 3-4 days though... or could it?
