I tried searching for this kind of topic but I didn't go too deeply, so I hope that I'm not adding any trash here.

So here's the deal, I really enjoy watching a good let's play, but they can be hard to find. I was hoping that perhaps we could post some of your personal favorites in this thread and create a nice archive of goodies.

Your topic is specifically about your LP work though. This would cover Let's plays in general, especially the gems people may have found digging through the dirt.

I'm mostly doing games I like: classic FPS games, adventure and horror games and some strategy games. I'll also be doing the occasional AGS game if I get intrigued by something enough to decide to play through it. Currently thinking of doing Gemini Rue at some point, but currently also too busy with ongoing projects.

I didn't post this earlier because my mind just went weirdly blank on the URL but this lady's playthroughs of the Kings Quest remakes are really funny and charming and some of mine and Hannah's favourite things to watch.

For adventure games I've enjoyed Lets Plays by hercrabbiness (who was mentioned by someone on these forums in a different thread). I recommend Laura Bow and Laura Bow 2 though the LB2 commentary is acted out by a couple of people, one of whom has very bad lag which leads to some annoying delays. She's also covered a lot of the Ben Jordan games.

For non-adventure games I've been watching TheAuZZieGamer, specifically his playthroughs of Hitman Blood Money. They're very quick (he speeds up a lot of the gameplay) and pretty funny, but he also covers lots of different ways of doing the missions, as well as fun stuff you can do. There's a lot of swearing though.

This is another let's play I've enjoyed. It's by some fellow by the name of 'chuggaaconroy' on that youtube. it's got about 600000 views so I bet it will be familiar to some here. Its pretty interesting though. It's not just some reactionary piece of shit LP, he really tired to highlight the game in its entirety. Like all the little things you could have missed while playing it for the first time.

Let's Plays I have/are enjoyed/enjoying:

* Quake II by Proteus and Suspicious, funny as all hell!

* Painkiller by Null Set, Psychedelic Eyeball and baldurk, twice as hilarious, and even a bit informative!

* Blood by Vexation, funny and gory, the perfect match!

* RollerCoaster Tycoon by Control Volume (on-going)

* X's Adventures in MineCraft, one of the dudes that got me started on the craze - informative and entertaining, not to mention his video on design when building is brilliant!

* Like watching all the Ster Trek series in a row, DeceasedCrab's Let's Play of La Mulana goes through so many stages of human expression and is so long that you'll feel like you've actually completed the game along with him. His knowledge of the game is extensive, he is entertaining, and I found the game to be very interesting as well! Maybe not so much about the end point as it is about the journey.

* Northernlion's play of The Binding of Isaac, again, funny and entertaining, if only a bit repetitive. I especially enjoy the fact that we, as viewers (and some of us even players) of the game are discovering the game along with the dude. Also, if you're not playing The Binding of Isaac, you're probably doing something wrong. (on-going)
