Rode, that my friend, is a *RARE* copy of the Quest for Glory series inwhich a Hero's Quest box was used... you should buy that now!  Don't tell anybody....  :D

I actually already have a copy of Hero's Quest, I was just wondering why the manual didn't correspond with the game.

Is it possible that when they changed the name, they reprinted all the manuals, but had loads of game boxes left over so they kept using them until they ran out?

Otherwise it does seem rather odd that they don't match up.

I don't think that'd be possible, since they were forced to change the name of the game because of this.

It still bothers me that it had to change to quest for glory...

Hero's quest was probably the best game I ever had when I was a kid....I'd love to have that box and manual again....

Rode: I believe that version of FoA was packaged with CD-rom drives when they were first coming into common use.  When I bought my CD rom drive in 92, mine came with a version of FOA that looks exactly like the one in the pic.  I have no idea bout the other ones, but it could be the same for them as well.
