Turns out I clicked through the "you have the right username, now what's your password" screen accidentally, so I didn't realize I had the right username, and kept trying to put in the password for that.  But at least now I know how to hide stuff.

Don't know if it helps any, but I'm stuck right there, where Mordalles is. There's nobody to talk to, no new location and I already did everything that seemed possible. Plus, I have no idea what I SHOULD do.

Go to the Sharming Showroom, use the computer, go to the ledger, use the clue "Ethan G." on "Goldberg accounting" to form a link.  Then go back to Stone's PC, and search for "Ethan Goldberg".

you need to "out-rabbi" him. this is similar to Insult Swordfighting in the Monkey Island series. the beginning hints to the answer: rabbis answer to questions with a question. you need to ask him stuff, he'll try to answer with a question. if he doesn't succeed (ended sentence with a period or an exclamation mark), he is baffled, and it's time to throw a punch.
