Hi,

I have and done the following:

Inventories:
Fan, violin, plier scissors, stringed hanger, string with hook, hanky, article and small bell from cat bowl.

Things I've done:
Play the violin in kitchen (cat doesn't drink anymone and there is something moving in bowl but cannot get it.
show the hanky to Lord Blackwin including to maid.
Plug fan in outlet inside common room, use fan and cat hair on it which I get article from.
Give article to Blackwin and spoke to to the Dr about it.
Give bell to blacwin and spoke with all about this

Show the duster to Lord Blackwin...to get the thing in the chute use one of the wall hooks in the foyer which you have removed by using the pliers from the hall closet...with a piece of string.

open drawer in kitchen, a scissors is in there. Then use scissors with ball of string.

There may be another way, but if you get the bell and show it to Lord Blackwin you can then ask the maid for the duster and she will give it to you if you tell her you need it to prove the cat's innocence.

I think after you show the dirty duster to Lord Blackmin, you can find out the safe combo from the maid--either by talking to her or showing her the duster, I forget which.
