How can guys appreciating chicks who like to dress up in skimpy outfits be classed as 'gay'?
Some might consider it a bit sad... but then again some people consider making your own adventure games to be a bit sad... it all depends on the person doing the judging and those being judged should be left alone to do what the hell they want.

Unless they're dressing up as anime characters.

Anime aside, cosplay reeaaally is lame.

Matti

The guy who judged was a robot who can't understand human's nature at all.

By the way, is there something weird going on I didn't know of yet? It seems the robots are taking over all the news shows and broadcastings. Is it their plan to brainwash the viewers in order to secretly plan to overthrow the government and enslave mankind?

I can't control what the robot media choose to report. For example:

Tuomas

If someone finds it fun making clothes, who am I to blame them. If someone likes dressing up, who am I to blame. In my book they're not at all weird. People have had masquerades as long as I can think back. See phantom of the opera for example god damnit!

Ishmael

Masquerade != cosplay.

A real masquerade would be fun to attend, I think.
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

The credentials of people claiming to represent the robot media have yet to be established, and facts regarding their "official" status are sketchy at best. >:(

As to cosplay, what's the harm? Would I personally dress up like, say, Dante from Devil May Cry? If I could find my abs without the aid of a scalpel and an ice-cream scoop, sure I would. Maybe not in public, but I'd spend a few hours flexing in front of a mirror.

I don't know what drives grown men to dress up as Hello Kitty, but if it makes them happy then I'm not going to stop them.

Unless it's to lure children into their gingerbread house. Then I would stop them.

"This must be a good time to live in, since Eric bothers to stay here at all"-CJ also: ACHTUNG FRANZ!

I am shocked and appalled!

I've only ever lured hobos into my basement, while dressed as a sandwich!

What a blatant lie.  Everyone knows the only way to lure hobos is dressed as a bottle of booze.

Mini-skirts and blond, hmm.

The combination sure is awesome, but I'm not sure if that posture is possible to hold without breaking several limbs...?

abstauber

Has anyone ever dressed up like these insane anime uber monsters. You know, this type of universe eating mutants, which appear when the arch nemesis already's got beaten up?

And I'd love to hear some more robot broadcast from pesty  :=
