Everything was said already but well I could not help myself and come here to say congratulations on a great game, Ben.
We now can say "A Ben304 type of art" for a game, that being a complement.
Can't wait for the next one. :)

Thanks Miguel! I'm happy you took the time to play the game, and happier that you enjoyed it and shared your comments! I hope I haven't stuck myself too deeply into a rut of the same art style over again for each game, because I always try and push myself to try something a little bit different when I draw for a game, but I am glad you think I am consistent!

Cheers!

Well, since you ask I think you should stick with Manboy and Annie styles, you clearly master that technique better than anyone else here, but maybe you want to change?
Either way I know I'll keep going back to your games and to the critic lounge to see what you've been up to.

I just got a chance to play through Annie Android and it was a really good short game.  Looked good, sounded good, felt good.  The plot issues some people had could easily be remedied in a sequel if you ever got the urge to make one (Repercussions from HQ and/or a jealous sweepbot coming to claim what is "his".)

Anyways, after playing This Game a couple days ago and Annie Android tonight, I think it has been sufficiently proven that a limited palette can look fantastic and carry a strong mood throughout.  I may even try to create a game with a limited color palette myself.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Miguel: Thanks, and I promise that the next game won't look too different :)!

Shea: Thank you for playing, and I am glad you enjoyed it! Again, I won't commit to a sequel but maybe some rainy day I'll be looking for another project! Good luck with trying a limited palette for yourself :)

MoodyBlues

Yay, what a charming game!  The story was really enjoyable, and I really liked the retro-ish music and sound effects.

Very charming game, Ben.
Thanks for the half hour of entertainment.

I noticed two things, one a bug, the other a minor inconsistency:
Spoiler
When I was trying to disable the hammer hitting assassin dude, the one on the right.  I clicked somewhere too close to him, Annie replied with her 'I shouldn't get too close' message then moved to the NorthWest of the right Assassin.  Then she locked up and wouldn't move no matter where I clicked on the screen.
Luckily I saved it before the assassins came around.

Also in the end, I felt it was odd seeing Annie coming from the left of the screen approaching Mailbot, when should have been coming from the right.
It's not a horrible problem or anything, just odd.

Thanks again!

Thanks Ryan!

Somebody mentioned the game locking up before due to the Assassinbots, but I couldn't figure out where it was. I appreciate you mentioning it, because it means I might be able to have a crack at fixing it :).

I also can't believe I didn't notice that second point you brought up, and neither did anyone else mention it! That's hilarious!

Glad you enjoyed the game :)

Ben, I loved this game!  I haven't played an AGS game (or any other game for that matter) in ages, but I had to find time to play this little adorable game.  Charming is the best word to describe it.  Really nice work!

F1ak3r

I think what I loved most about this game was the menu song. That is what sold me. Not to say the rest wasn't great as well.

ThreeOhFour

Vince: Yay! Thanks for playing, and I am happy to hear you enjoyed it :D.

F1ak3r: Hehe, I like the menu song as well :D. Thanks for playing!

I haven't played any new AGS games in a long time.... But I decided to DL this and a few others today.

I must say, I loved it. Absolutely polished, music, graphics, scripting, everything. And the perfect length for what the story was. If it was a longer game, it would've felt dragged out, but you got it just right.

However, I did notice one 'bug'. After deactivating the left (or both) Assassinbot, he'll still reply when you threaten to use the hammer or him.

Thanks for the great game Ben.

Me and Nelly enjoyed this game very much. I love limited palletes! They're both the best kind of palletes and the best kind of limits.

The only qualm I had with the visuals was that Annie seems to change height from time to time, possibly between standing and walking views. I loved everything else about it, and particularly liked the theme tune.

Roll on sequels and merchandising!

ThreeOhFour

Thanks Ali (and Nelly) :D!

I appreciate the nice comments about the graphics, and agree that the animation wasn't perfect. There's always next time, I guess  :=

As for sequels... no promises ;).

As for merchandising... well, I would love to own my very own Mailbot costume ;D. Sadly, this seems impractical, and people would probably think I am a dork for walking around in it and saluting every time I say anything  ;)

Cheers!

SuperDre

And again a lovely nice game.. thanx for creating and publishing those lovely games you make..

ThreeOhFour

Thanks, SuperDre, I appreciate your nice words :).
