This picture was quite simple to make, as most of the source material was existing photography: the black & white "dig in mesopotamia" photographs, the pen, even the newspaper. Most work was making the composite of the newspaper photograph (using pictures of the sphinx, a line of trucks and several pictures of "our" general). It looks a little less "handdrawn" than the other pictures, but so do the closeup pictures in the original FoA, and the low res makes it work somehow (I think).

It works damn fine, IMO, as do the rest of the art teasers for this game. Yowee-ZOWEE it's looking impressive. Can't wait to play!
