I'd like to share a piece I recently commissioned too, if I may:
OMG, an open box?! What is wrong with you, man?! What kind of severe mental condition do you have? Why can't you just be turned on by closed boxes like all the normal people???

I would very much like it if all you furry creeps would just not post stuff like this. There's like fetishes and kinky stuff and then there's interspecies creepy. I don't know where you came from or what childhood trauma you had that you think a woman looks better if she has a tail and cat ears, but don't think for one second everybody else doesn't see this and think "well I better hide my cat from this person".

Holy Toledo! This is rather an overblown reaction to what is essentially vanilla cheesecake (with chocolate sprinkles). It's some of the tamest art I've seen, and I'm not sure it quite warrants this kind of vitriol. Come on, it's not mind shattering or even alien. It's girls with flair. You see raunchier stuff than this walking down the high street.

I don't think the AGS forums is quite the right place to be sharing commissions, unless they're game related, but I don't think it deserves villification.

I'm guessing your favorite cartoon was Pepe Le Pew, your favorite movie was Human Centipede: Full Sequence, you like badly drawn anime and enjoyed more than an Elephant pooping last time you went to a Circus.  Whilst it's a very interesting fetish, I hope you didn't pay much for it as the artist has probably worn out there C and V keys making it.  The fact they've gradient shaded the tails, bras and background but not the skin appalls me.

The centre of gravity on the unicycle is way off, too.

Is stuff like this popular for people who commission stuff, or did you just pick a particularly mediocre artist?  How much did it cost?  I'm fairly sure I could manage the same quality (I'd throw it away as a concept art failure, and restart from scratch); this makes me think I can make a small fortune selling stuff to others.  I've seen other "Commisioned work" that seemed half-assed, too.  I wouldn't pay for it myself, but I'm curious as to who would, and how much it'd be worth.

It's been said on the previous page, it cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $200.

I'll refrain from commenting on that, as he seems to be happy with his purchase.

I'll add my name to the list of people unimpressed by this piece (particularly given the cost: you can get an original, hard-copy commissioned drawing by a "name" artist for that price or not much more), but also want to remind posters to refrain from personal attacks.

It's not a bad picture if you like that kind of thing.  I'd personally prefer to pay $200 to an escort on Craig's List to come dressed up as a skunk for a couple of hours and let me take photos of him on a unicycle.

I've had to re-read the thread a couple of times, as I repeatedly missed the price tag.  I even tried browsing the artist's DA page, but I couldn't find a price list when I tried.  I'd initially believed the 200 (dollars?) was some arbitrary number thrown in for comedy purposes, whilst expecting the actually price to be around $5-10.

I hope you didn't think my previous post was a personal attack, I was basing my opinion purely on the art itself.  (Apologies to the mods, if it seemed that way).  Everyone is free to enjoy whatever they like, and I'm certainly not against anyone having their own fetishes, regardless of how obscure they are - I can't be, considering my latest thing for women in clown make-up - but I have to say, I'm just so surprised anything so shoddy could cost so much.  I'd have charged a pittance for the same thing, and have thanked you for the opportunity afterwards.  In fact, if you can give me a concept, I'd be glad to try and knock you up an image - more to see how it compares to other commissions than anything.  Free, obviously.

Photos will cost you extra.  I'll also need you to sign this insurance waiver before I get on any with less than three wheels.

That's the problem with you kids today. Back when I was young, we did kinky things for the fun of it. And we never involved lawyers. :=

But the lawyers charge you by the hour. They even charge you when you're not there but they're thinking about doing kinky things with you. It's all so very expensive!

Whan I was a kid I drew lots of "furries" for fun. Lol. But these were not kinky in any way. I doubt I knew what "kinky" is at that time. (roll)

As an aside, I just came across this article that some might find interesting: http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2001/03/furries200103

Brrr, I'd be constantly paranoid that they were about to turn into Tim Curry.

I doubt I need to reiterate my stance on the furry-concept:

Hells, this reminds me, I've been toying around with a new idea for a forum game like this! Maybe I'll put in some more effort this time around, so it doesn't die off like Afrika Korps did...

I hope you guys don't think I'm weird, but I'd like to commission an adventure game staring the box with legs. About how much is that going to run me? 8-)
