Fixed, thanks!

The images are different resolutions, so definitely not *only* the filename is different!

Also the new one has Sentence Casing rather than being all lowercase.  And is on HTTPS instead of HTTP.

This is a bug in SMF itself.  I've manually updated your avatar URL in the database for now.
#163
Can you please give me the URL you're trying to enter?

It's supposed to use SSO (so same login as the forums), but it doesn't work correctly in SMF 2.1 yet.

Quote from: cat on Sun 01/01/2023 19:56:29The Wiki does not work. It shows an error message:

Should be fixed now!

I've increased the character limit to 100k, see if that helps.

I previously had a custom date format set for some reason, which meant I wasn't seeing the default (bugged!) behaviour the rest of you were.  I've changed the default format to match my custom one, and it seems to work okay now?  I'm not sure how this will affect anyone who prefers to use e.g. mm/dd/yyyy format though.

Could anyone who prefers anything other than dd/mm/yyyy please try selecting a custom date format on their profile (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?action=profile;area=theme) to see if the issue still happens?

It shows as 2nd January in both the quote and original thread for me.

Can someone please give exact examples of where the dates are wrong?  I've poked around, and everywhere I've looked they're showing today

Should be fixed!  It was a side effect of an SMF software update.

Quote from: heltenjon on Sat 19/11/2022 12:03:08I got my first Clean Talk blocks today...because I reported several messages as spam in less than 80 seconds.  :-D

But it's a bit disheartening that apparently some bots can get through the registration form. I wouldn't have thought it likely when you see it.

The new version doesn't have the custom registration form anymore.  I thought CleanTalk would be enough, but apparently not!

Quote from: Khris on Tue 08/11/2022 13:09:38I'd simply remove the plugin. SMF's native youtube button shows a small box where you can paste the URL, then it extracts and inserts just the ID.

The other functionality the plugin adds seems useless and broken anyway.

Yup, seems to work, thanks!  It's now using the core SMF parser, which as you say makes it a bit more obvious how it should work.
#173
It's not as simple as that...  Unless you want to also write an SMF plugin to support syntax highlighting via KatePart it won't integrate with the forums.  PrismJS at least works(ish) for the time being.

Every single registered user is on the whitelist, and has been for the last week or so.  Can those of you who are still affected please give me a bit more detail about what's happening?  Are you logged in, trying to post?  Trying to log in?

I would rather avoid whitelisting IPs if possible, since it's very imprecise.  I'll do it if I have to, but I'd rather understand the issue first to see if there's any alternative that doesn't loosen our security too much.

Quote from: AGA on Mon 31/10/2022 00:07:59Yup from me and Tamara!  I was planning on raising the subject in the new year, but looks like you got there first.

Would that just be the two of your or is this going to be a family thing?

We'd aim to bring our son; at very least get a separate place nearby wherever Mittens is hosted, if not in the main Mittens house.

I'd guess the native tag is catching the input instead of the plugin.  I haven't got the time or energy to look at it now, will look soon!

#177
Any suggestions for how I should word the warning to be clearer?

I think the issue is SMF 2.1 added support for [youtube] out of the box, which is probably affecting the plugin's more extensive use of the tag.

Quote from: Snarky on Sat 29/10/2022 09:03:46Just another example of how nobody understands the way embedded YouTube videos is supposed to work. Is it completely impossible to do anything about, so that it will accept a full URL rather than just the ID?

You're welcome to try...  Plugin is here, and SMF core here.  I can give you access to the dev test forums if you have an idea of how to fix it.
