Removed the truncation, since it isn't really necessary now stuff wraps sensibly.  And yeah, there was a bug in the truncation logic regardless.

That's done, although I really can't see what difference it made...

So I've had a quick look at villas, mid July:

10 bed cottage, close to Reykjavik and the golden circle
15 people house, similarish area
20 person house, east of the country.  This is fairly expensive though, and would require a change at Reykjavik airport to get to the local airport

There are only 18 villas in the whole country on the site I looked at.  Most of them seem to fit a fair number of people at a decent price though, so we should find something to suit our numbers.

The message at the top of the forums also changes once you have voted, so that would have let you know if your votes were registered.

Easy solution then: whitelist this domain!  We don't load anything suspicious, and the Facebook and Twitter links are only links, they don't offer any dynamic data that actually accesses those sites (unless you click the links). 

We're going on a longish trip early September, and have other some stuff early August, so we'd prefer sometime in July if possible.

Mittens 2017 is confirmed for this house in Hafnir, Iceland from 15-22 July.

It's that time of year again when we need to think about organising this year's Mittens. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think someone might have suggested Iceland during last year's Mittens.

Just a very minor issue: the forum profile page doesn't allow avatar image URLs starting with https.
I guess the URL doesn't pass some outdated RegEx test?

Implemented this.

Votes will now autofill if you return to the page after having previously voted.  Other things may happen later.

I don't think it's really fair to enforce the voting for credited games programatically.  What if I was credited on a game because someone used a module I created?  Or for moral support or something minor like that?  Or a little bit of beta testing?  Does that mean I shouldn't be allowed to vote on a game I loved, just because I'm vaguely associated with it?  The only way we could maybe do it to discount votes from the first credited person (generally the 'owner'), otherwise I think it could end up being too strict.

They load fine in pure Firefox...  Which is no help of course, but we can't really do much about people using non standard browsers encountering non standard behaviour!

Should all be sorted now.  Sorry it took so long!  I also ran a quick database search to find any identical entries, and all the ones found had already been disabled.

Hey AGA, I work at Ubisoft now so we can finally get married.

Hooray!  I'll be on the next plane.  I actually kept an eye out for your name in the credits of either DX:MD or the first DLC, and it was pretty cool to see someone I 'knew' credited on such a huge AAA title.

Chrille is still alive.  He was at Mittens this year.  Didn't really work out why no AGS anymore though.

Whoops.  This was a leftover from the uninstallation of Tapatalk.  Removed it now, and it seems to work when I test it.  Please give them my apologies!

This unfortunately is something that has always randomly happened when submitting on this server...  We've never been able to reproduce it to work out what the problem is.  People generally manage to work around it by clearing cookies / sessions, trying a different browser, the usual.
