The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Nobody believes Billy Masters. He's been accused of taking drugs in
high school and accusing his teacher of serious crimes. Sick of his
attitude, his parents have imposed a curfew on him until he apologizes
to his teacher. Now Billy thinks a sneaky psycho is at work at his
neighbors and he will do anything he can to convince the world that,
indeed, Billy Masters was right.
Billy Masters Was Right  is a short adventure game  in a Maniac Mansion graphic style and a plot inspired by movies like "The Burbs" or "Disturbia".

Well this game ticks all the right boxes. I liked the music, story, puzzles, graphics, with a good interface and a few animations thrown in.

Billy Masters needs your help.

It's the best game this year so far, perfect from all point of views. If you've grown up in the 1980s, you'll find this game hilarious.

Brillant little game, short but spot-on! Great production values and very entertaining. Even things like the gui and the main menu are extremely professionally made. Highly recommended!

A very good game! This production manages to mix Maniac Mansion-y
graphics, excellent characterisation and a firework of a plot.
I have replayed it in both Spanish and English, the former being
slightly better. Two thumbs up!
